I really liked the Martha Pullen Sew Beautiful magazine so it was a pleasure to receive the book in such good condition. The seller said the cover with the picture didn't come with the book; I would like to find a book that has examples.

If you have a romantic heart then this book is for you whether you sew or not. Just beautiful pictures of lace and piping and all sorts of details that strike me as Victorian. I'm a regular clown who would never attempt anything like the articles in this book, but I got the book because I love the part of Martha's PBS series where she shows the heirloom dresses and I just enjoy it , to sit and leaf through it.
