Worth the money. for my opinion

Love this machine! I have converted almost 20 cassettes already in the 2 months I've had this machine and had a lot of fun with it!

Pros
  • We love it! Great product and great transaction!
Cons
  • Needs a level surface for optimal sound quality

Great system! - my new review

What a high quality product. We were looking to replace a 30 year old system and this was the perfect one! Sound quality is great and it looks great in our den!

Pros
  • ‎21.25 x 17 x 8.5 inches
Cons
  • Limited equalizer options

Nice system on my review.

Sound is great, still trying to figure out the recording part. Hopefully I just need to do a tad bit more reading up on how to do the tracking.

Pros
  • Great bang for the buck. Felt like a kid again listen to tapes. I recommend.
Cons
  • I ordered this twice and both times the package did not come with the rubber mat..

This item came pretty quick. I've already burned about 20 CDs on this. I've mostly burned old mix-tapes I did back in the 80's/90's (before I switched to making mixed-CDs in the 2000's!). This system is very easy to use - just put in the cassette tape and a blank CD and hit "record" and then "play" (right after you get the tape going). There is no rubber mat that comes with this for the record player. I bought one separately and it makes a nice "cushion" for the records.

Pros
  • Great product, did not dislike anything about it.
Cons
  • Heavy weight

Great for ripping vinyl to digital

I just got this as an early Father's Day gift. I had a highly rated under $100 turntable, but my fairly pristine records were skipping and there was no way to adjust the tonearm to correct the problem, so I did the research and asked for the TEAC TN-300SE. I've been delighted with the result. The setup was dead easy. A little trial and error balancing the tonearm with the counterweight, but the rest of the setup was following the simple instructions. In all it took under 15 minutes. The big…

Pros
  • Came on time and was just as advertised.
Cons
  • Limited compatibility with modern devices

great unit for my opinion

have many records and cassette tapes to listen to, just a few cd's. thank you for a great stand alone unit without having to bring in all that old equipment, hook it up, and hope it all is working.

Pros
  • Looks good sounds great.
Cons
  • No backup or cloud storage for music

You get what you pay for.

Great to be able to play ALL my old music collections. There are cheaper options but I’m glad I spent the money on a quality product.

Pros
  • High professional turntable, very happy with it and really looks beautiful !!!!
Cons
  • Difficulty in cueing tracks

My newest favorite toy

threw away all my old individual CD players , Tape players as well as my over-used turntable and got this all in one entertainment center, and I love IT. Cost was much cheaper than buying each piece individually. Came to my house packed very securely , set it up in minutes and have been enjoying it everyday ever since. I'm considering purchasing several more to use as Xmas gifts.

Pros
  • Best way to convert cassettes or vinyl to cds.
Cons
  • Not compatible with all speakers

Good Turntable: my feedback

Nice turntable. Well packed. Shipped quickly. One small issue; the owners manual said that it came with a rubber mat. The mat included was actually felt.

Pros
  • Turntables & Accessories
Cons
  • Static electricity can cause audio interference

YOU CAN ONLY PLAY ONE CD AT A TIME

THIE BOX IS LARGER THAN EXPECTED. THE SOUND QUALITY IS GOOD BUT IT'S NO BOSE. I LIKE THE FACT THAT YOU CAN PLAY RECORDS. CD'S AND CASSETTES TOO.

Pros
  • ‎China
Cons
  • Limited options for adjusting pitch

Just to share my experience

I bought this item as an earlier model the LP-R500, which did not include the USB feature, but was able to record from the radio to cd. Mine was manufactured in 2007, and I bought it new ($450) from another company (not Revain) in 2012. It lasted me 8 years. I used the conversion feature the most. I recorded MET Sat afternoon operas for 6 years (from Dec-May), and then I converted about 100 cassette tapes. Today, I turned it on to open the cd slot, and it wouldn't open, and within 30 seconds…

Pros
  • Static balanced straight tone arm
Cons
  • Sensitive to stylus alignment

Sound quality is not great

Everything works well and I like the record features. The one issue is that I think the speaker quality is fairly low, which disappointed me. After reading all the good reviews, I anticipated a better quality for the price even though I realize units like this never have the highest quality in sound. I would say this is a good all-in-one unit as long as you are not too picky about the speakers.

Pros
  • Easy to use.
Cons
  • Expensive replacement parts

I only just received this Teac Multi-Player / CD Recorder yesterday. It came very well and securely packaged. Takimg it from the Box, it was apparent of the nice "feel of quality/ sturdiness" to the Teac product. Plugged it in and I attached it to my Denon DRA -800H Receiver to enhance the stereo sound. Played LPs first. Night and Day compared to the Cheapo Boytone Multi-Player All-In-One. Better TT and better sounding cartridge. I was so pleased to have purchased this for my Basement sound…

Pros
  • Love. Wish it had an auto return but for the cost of this great turntable I can return the arm by hand.
Cons
  • Expensive price point

Overall a very nice unit.

Seems to reduce the noise typically associated with vinyl recordings, has an OK sound for a small unit. Seems to do what it was designed to do. Has a very simplistic tape player, does not automatically stop when rewinding or fast-forwarding to the end of a tape. Does not record tapes; only records to CDs or through an output to a computer.

Pros
  • Easy to set up and use, Tone arm lifting handle could be a little longer for easy lifting.
Cons
  • Can be susceptible to vibrations

Meh sound quality good for me

This stereo would be much better if it had a tone control button like most stereos have always had. I ended up sending this back

Pros
  • Great sound quality. Beautiful. Excellent performance.
Cons
  • Needs regular maintenance

If you have fairly high standards, not for you.

For some, this product would be okay. I found the speakers to be woefully unsatisfactory compared to my stereo system (which is not type of the line by any means). I have also had humming when using the cassette player. It has been okay for mixing down to disk. Just an okay product but expected better for the price.

Pros
  • Very nice turntable. First purchase. Easy to setup and looks very nice.
Cons
  • Hard to transport due to size and weight

An important piece was broken when it arrived.

This was a reduced price item. The notice said that there would be 'some' exterior blemish or scratch. When it arrived, I could find no sign of marring or scratching. but. when I unpacked and set it up, I found the post that holds the turntable arm was broken off! It is plastic, and had extended from a small depression in the cabinet. I studied the situation, not wanting to go thru the process of sending it back and hoping. Finally, I decided to use super glue and electrical tape to stand it…

Pros
  • easy to assemble and good sound.
Cons
  • Low volume output compared to digital audio

Excellent all-in-one music system

I am reviewing the TEAC LP-R660USB. I don’t know the difference between this model and the R550 but since this one is newer I decided to go with it. Just to give you a little history as to why i decided to buy this: Prior to getting this I had a cassette deck from the 70s and an 80s turntable. The turntable I had worked well, but the cassette deck has some type of audio signal problem. I had everything connected to a Pyle receiver and had two Zenith speakers which didn’t work all that great.I…

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Records require proper storage to maintain quality

WHAT AN AWESOME MACHINE

I was looking for a unit that would easily convert my cassettes to CDs, and based on the reviews this looked like one of the best. I can say that the reviews were right: this is a great unit. There are some caveats, however. The main one is that this unit has a VERY short power cord; you're going to have to sit this close to an outlet, you can't just put it anywhere on your entertainment center. Also be warned that it is VERY heavy. Cassette players and CD players tend to be lightweight, so I…

Pros
  • turntable work great so far.
Cons
  • Limited volume control options
