On belts with holes, the holes never seem to line up exactly. It's like the belts are made in imperial measurements and my waist is in metric measurements; I never find the perfect setting. Great! So I got this belt to help me put my pants on because my old belt that I had for years broke its plastic buckle which can be adjusted and the nylon belt fits my needs perfectly and is amazingly durable for plastic buckles. Nylon is strong but not flexible. Thanks to these straps, I no longer have severe skin rashes.

decided to try this. Bought as I'm hoping to carry it through TSA airport which hasn't happened yet but wore it immediately upon arrival. What's good: Sturdy, durable and holds up well! All plastic. The clip on one fell off so I put it back on but wrong. I ended up holding my pants down until I got home and fixed it. Narrow width and mesh material plus no metal is what I need.

The buckle takes a little getting used to, but I'm very satisfied with the look and quality. I didn't bother to cut off the excess, I just squeezed it.

Works as it should. I work in a warehouse where we have to go through a metal detector at least 6 times per shift. I needed a belt that I didn't have to put on and take off with every run, and that helped.

Quality workmanship, the clasps are good, close securely. The belt is good, but it's thinner than I expected; A thicker and stiffer webbing would be desirable and maybe one day they will make such a webbing. However, the thickness of the material is not critical and I use it almost every day at work and at home. The style of the buckle is new to me as I've never seen one before, but it's secure and I've never accidentally dislodged it. Bargain.

It's hard to find 1.25 inch wide belts like this, so that's a good thing. I use them for my mountain bike shorts. Under "normal" wearing conditions, I'm sure they're fine. But after getting off the bike, I found that the plastic buckle had slipped off. I'm not sure if a metal buckle would have been better but I suspect it would.

I bought these to use on my basketball referee pants. Black is perfect for this. They are very long (I am 34 years old and have room to grow). Don't know if the buckle system is good for heavy use - seems basic. Great for what I use it for. Looks good.

These belts are affordable and work great. You'll need to trim, of course... and it helps if you have decent tailors. You can't cut it with ordinary old scissors ;). I used a lighter to seal the cut edge. They work great.

As a corporate security manager, I check metal detectors daily and it takes a long time to remove the belt several times a day. This belt is perfect for wearing to support your pants, walk through metal detectors without setting off the detector, and the buckle stays secure without having to readjust all day. It is lightweight as advertised. Great price for buying two belts.

I've been wearing it every day for a few months and so far it's holding up really well. The belt does not wear out and the polymer buckle has no problems. I keep my straps tight so that the buckle is always a little tight and hasn't yet failed. Great product for the price!

These straps appear to be well made and are just the right width and thickness for my liking. The colors are as advertised. My only criticism of this product is that even after purchasing the smallest belt, it's still big. So my only recommendation is to suggest a shorter version for those of us with a waist of 36 inches or less. If you are 30-32 years old, this may not be the best choice.

You might not win fashion awards, but you can't beat air travel without setting off metal detectors. I mainly use them as travel accessories. The buckle is not a heavy construction so I suspect it may not be durable with everyday use.

Shop elsewhere. They are of poor quality, do not stretch, the buckle is weak. Only works as a belt and not a universal belt due to the design of the buckle. Overall totally disappointed.

As long as they are comfortable and stay in place. I think 1.25 inches is great. There is a belt loop that you run the belt through and I love what they did. It can adjust to the place you want. I like to keep the strap long and don't mind wrapping it around me. But you can also adjust the strap by cutting it, then melting the end and putting it back together, and that's easy.

This is the basic web belt. The fabric of the belt is very thin so it tends to be slippery overall. I spend most of the day chasing my waist-deep cell phone. Other belts with a coarser weave will work better. It looks strong, but I didn't try to hang anyone from it.

No elastic waist but still great for the shorts I bought them for. I needed a smaller width than the standard 1 1/2 width used on jeans.

I've had the belts for about a week now, but so far they're working great. I was a bit worried at first because the buckles feel cheap but some of the comments from other reviewers said it was a hard durable plastic so hopefully they will hold up. If so, this is a great price for 2 seemingly well-made straps.

I wanted a smaller buckle - metal buckles that I kept pushing out. The plastic buckle on these straps is nice and flat. Hold on. No complaints, just what I was looking for.
