Doesn't work well with 1/2 PEX

A week ago I got fed up with them for the first time and immediately after turning on the water I found all my connections were leaking. I cut them off thinking I might have bad crimps, but even when crimping new rings I still didn't have a good seal. I've found that when I put my crimping tool back on one and squeeze, the leak stops.
