    Nice and unobtrusive

I had a hard time squeezing the power cord, it looked like the lowest profile I could find. Fits perfectly, maybe more in the future.

    Pros
    • I hold my fists
    Cons
    • Crumpled packaging

The price corresponds to the price!

Perfect for my application. The braid is a little thin but doesn't need to be thick for such a short run. All in all a good product!

    Pros
    • Great design
    Cons
    • Only available in black

18 AWG - 10A is probably not what you need

This is a thin cable that is probably good enough for your DVD player but not your amplifier or other device. Withstands a maximum of 10A, so you have to connect devices with less than 1000W!

    Ideal for ceiling projector

Ideal for ceiling projector. I installed my power supply and two HDMI ports in the ceiling to connect to an installed projector and this cable was perfect for replacing the original power cord and running the line from the projector to the new outlet.

    Pros
    • Quality construction
    Cons
    • Fine

I really needed a super short cable with a left hand C13 connector but nobody seems to be doing that. The main problem was the gap and this cable solves that problem. That works fine. I just hope that bending the cord out of the wrong socket doesn't cause it to fail.

    perfect for rack mounting

My A&H mixer barely fits on the top of the rack, the stock cable connector is too long. The right angle fits perfectly, and only 1 foot ID is just the right length (it's better to roll up another 5 feet of copper in the rack). bought a few more so the compressor and mic receiver have shorter leads. only copper could reduce the weight of the rack by a good kilo.

Not 14 AWG Wire and Connections

This wire's model number, 143, means to anyone familiar with electrical wiring that this is a 3-wire, 14 AWG wire. Unfortunately it isn't. It's very thin, I would rate either 18 AWG or 20 AWG. Monoprice offers several options with true C13 14 AWG rectangular at Revain and their own website. If you're using a computer, subwoofer, or other device that draws more than a few amps, I'd recommend getting true 14 AWG wire.

    The model number is misleading

As there was no other indication in the description I assumed the cable was 14ga, 3 strand based on the model number. Oops. It is not. Wire 18-3. Not what I wanted because I use a subwoofer with it, although it only draws a few amps at max volume I wanted it to match the extension cord it is plugged into which is a 14-3. Otherwise the product is fine, but cheaper 18-3 IEC to NEMA 5-15P right angle cables can be bought cheaper from Revain.

Not 14 AWG for power cord

This cord's model number 143 would imply to anyone who knows anything about electrical wiring that this is a 14 AWG, 3-conductor cord. Unfortunately it isn't.
