Inkjet ink Ink

Just a tip for those who have ink problems. I have found that if you rarely print, the ink will run out/dry out, making you think you need to buy another ink cartridge. DO NOT DO THIS if the HP software still shows ink remaining. Simply take out the cartridge, pour some filtered or distilled water into a glass and heat it in the microwave for 30 seconds, dip a lint-free cloth in it and gently clean the bottom of the ink cartridge. You'll know you're done when you wipe the contacts and some ink…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • too stupid

Current HP 60 black cartridges do not align properly

I've been using the same HP C4795 printer for over 10 years and the problems only started in 2021. And not even because of the printer! First, because Adobe Flash has been retired. This time the HP 60 black cartridge (both standard and XL) is misaligned so the black text has a shadow/phantom print. First I tried the XL bought from Staples, now the standard HP 60 from Revain and I'm convinced that the XL isn't just a fluke. Plus, reading online, I don't seem to be the only one. The print quality

I reluctantly buy it and color it. HP scam.

I hate my HP printer. This rating is a kind of review of all printers that use this cartridge. You intentionally use color ink when you print in black only to use it up so you have to buy more. They settled the case and I got a whopping $0.79 after the lawyers got their share. Brilliant. Apparently HP got away with it. The ink MIGHT last me a year and I don't print very much at all. I print out my tax forms, insurance cards, and the occasional form for other things once a year. Each year, when…

The ink ran out very quickly. I do not recommend.

I bought this ink on 4/4/19. Three months later, the next day, the ink was gone. It is said to print up to 200 pages. I rarely print and mostly use draft mode to save ink. I should have been printing about 2 pages a day for the past 3 months to print 200 pages now, but that's not the case. I've never run out of ink on an HP cartridge so quickly. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Some mistakes

The 2nd cartridge is defective!

These black HP ink cartridges came in a pack of 2. The first cartridge was ok and worked great. This went from January when I ordered them to today, May 7th. The second cartridge was defective. It didn't even print an alignment page. The packaging was sealed until I opened it just before installing it in my printer so I don't know how but it looks like it didn't have enough ink. Now it's too late for me to return it and get a refund. So I'm very dissatisfied!

Genuine HP product, it suits my needs well.

I see many people complaining that this cartridge runs out of ink quickly and recommending the XL cartridge. The XL has more ink and lasts longer, but it's also more than twice the price of this one. It works great for me, I mainly use it for shipping labels and get at least 400-500 prints before it's time to replace it. If I print so much that I thought I would run out too quickly, I would invest in a laser printer. I'm going for "normal" (halfway between fast draft and best quality).

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Not reliable

Not a real HP60 cartridge!

I ordered this cartridge as a backup in July. I needed a new one yesterday so I put a new one in. First my printer aligned it and when I started using it I got a message saying it was wrong. So I took it out, put it back in, and got the same message twice more. Finally, on the fourth attempt, a message appeared that it was not an HP cartridge. So now I don't have an ink cartridge, they sold me a fake one and I've run out of the money I spent on this one. The packaging and cartridge looked…

Do not buy: Office Electronics

We bought this cartridge in April and it was a disappointment. It ran out of ink very quickly, and as soon as we refilled it, it suddenly became "incompatible" with the HP printer. Official HP cartridge is now incompatible with HP printer, unbelievable. Did I mention this is the second black cartridge we've used with the exact same issue? These things are programmed to stop working after a while to force you to buy more. Don't waste your money like me, just buy a laser printer. This product is…
