I have always used another major brand of wipes because I prefer the price and the fact that they are paper. I decided to try these and I'm partial to them even though they're a bit more expensive. Of course, you shouldn't wash them off, even if they tear like a thick, wet rag. What is great, however, is that they decompose better in the garbage.
