Don't waste too little time

Tiny as hell, couldn't make a knife handle if my life depended on it. Don't waste your time too little.

Ideal for knife scales.

I use this scale for knives and am very satisfied. Outstanding grain appearance and excellent value for money. It turned out that one of the blocks was broken off, but in my case this doesn't affect the final product, so I didn't put a star.

What you see is not what you get

These blocks make nice designs, I have no problem with them. What disappointed me a bit is that I didn't get the nice granularity shown in the pictures on most of the things I received. Only two of the five showed any visible bizarre grittiness, and none of them were as pretty as the ones on the list.

Really inconsistent. Some good, some soft, a numerous deep large checks.

The third time I buy from this seller. First of all great wood. The second time is very soft wood. This time. One piece is incredibly tested and unusable, one is very soft, three is good. Spring. Thought the third time might be just as good as the first. Guilty.

I used blocks to make a razor stand.

Excellent wood grain. Really sizzle with some lemon oil. I assembled the blocks, sanded them to a smooth matte finish, and then bought a scale to assemble the base. The last step was rubbing or 2 boiled linseed oil. Brass nail heads grip the guard bar on the razors and hold them securely on the stand. It turned out great.

Some very good great prices

I bought these blocks and liked the results so much I ordered two more. I think you can expect a couple of very good ones, and a good one or two with a good color or pattern, and a very useful block or two without much color or pattern. They're damn solid. I had a few controls that needed a bit of CA glue but they ended up really well. Mine didn't look like the picture, but I wasn't expecting that either. You have exceeded my expectations. Don't expect show class, but you should get some good…
