I bought this unit to replace a similar radio/CD player that I had for years that stopped working. I've never used a CD player, so a basic radio seemed to do the trick. Bluetooth compatibility was a plus. Installation is relatively easy. To do this, drill three 1/4" holes in the bottom of the case using a template (supplied) to show where to drill. Easy install, great sound for the price. A 12-year-old child will have no problem installing a radio in a cabinet. Simply glue the cutout to the base and drill 3 holes.
