The Inkbird ITH-20 digital thermometer/hygrometer has a nice design and is easy to read, but once the humidity drops below 30% it will only show 10 on % (on 2 separate units) which conflicts with 3 other hygrometers in the same area so unfortunately I have to return them as they don't work as advertised.

I have batteries (garbage box). Version menu with small button. I compared with another temp/hygrometer and they show almost the same readings. I keep my rooms on the "dark side" so the readings are clear. I don't know if it's in the sun or bright light. since about a day. sfg

Very cool device! Much smaller than I thought (matchbox size if anyone knows what it is) but very easy to use. As soon as I put in two AAA batteries, it read the relative temperature and humidity in the room. Bright display, easy to prepare and easy to use. Insert batteries, set up devices and you're done! It is useful for controlling the temperature and humidity in the garage when brewing and storing beer.

I opened it up and put it in my office. I thought it read a little warm so I moved it to the AC thermostat. My AC was set to 74 and after a few minutes this unit read 74.7. It's good. I wish the tempo read faster as it seemed a bit slow. I suppose that's only a problem if you're going to move it. If, like me, you put it in the garage so you know how hot it is (summer is coming in Florida) and how often to take breaks so you don't overheat, then you'll be fine.

I have reptiles and invertebrates and have been using Inkbird thermostats for them for years, but recently I needed a way to control the ambient temperature in my reptile room to better identify what type of heat bulbs and the like I have to use. Bought two of these, one on top and one on bottom. Before I separated them, I turned them on and kept them close. The temperature matched almost exactly. The only deviation is maybe 0.1 degrees Fahrenheit. However, when it came to humidity, one was always 2 percentage points higher than the other. For example, one shows 41% and the other 43%. If it went down to 39%, the other would be 41%. etc. In the winter they were only about a week. Close enough for me I think.

I've never had Inkbird products before, but my fellow winemakers and musicians have nothing but good things to say about them. I've had several similar products in the past and they've all been really inaccurate and didn't have the features that this one has. It is also very easy to use. I needed one for my basement. I already have Akurite but wanted it to keep track of my humidity and temperature both upstairs and downstairs. After reading the reviews that it was 1 star I thought I'd test it against the one I have (which has high ratings). It seems pretty accurate in clothes. For the price paid for it, it's great. I needed a temp/humidity gauge for my basement to see if there was a big difference between the upstairs living area and the basement. I already have indicators for the first floor of the house, so I tested them on my Honeywell thermostat and Taylor humidifier. When I checked the thermostat it was very close, slightly higher in humidity but good in temperature.
