This product is great for listing all your books and DVDs

This product is great for listing all your books and DVDs. Should there ever be any fire damage, I now have a complete list of all my books. The app and hardware can be used in multiple places, so I've used it at home, in the office, and at church.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Good option for reading the ISBN!

Hello, This is a good value ISBN reader. I am starting a library endowment for my granddaughter ZuuZuu and I want to make sure that all of her books are properly recorded. The only problem I had and had to look for myself :( is that the scanner doesn't work on new computers. I bought a brand new HP computer, due to Covid19, and the scanner doesn't work. So I tried to mine old computer and it worked fine I went to my new computer and downgraded the scanner driver and then the scanner worked…

The kids love it and so do I

This scanner saved my life as a teacher! I have so many books that I personally bought for my students and without this scanner I would have no idea what was in my library or which student had which book! He catalogs absolutely everything and also gives deadlines! I am so impressed with the quality and ease of use. I've even taught my students to use the scanner, and I have an assigned "librarian" to help me manage the library. The kids love it and so do I! Thanks IntelliScanner :)

Why didn't I think of that sooner?

I am so glad I found out about this scanner. For the first time, I know exactly what books are in my classroom library and can track coursework. The scanner worked great when I first used it and continue to do so. The only issues I have aren't with the scanner: #1 a lot of my books are older and seem to have the exact same ISBN number, or at least they scan the same way and #2 I have a lot of books (mostly school books ) that have no barcode at all. Both of these issues made me buy more…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Corrupt

It's not what I was hoping for.

As another review says, it's best to only read 5 or 6 books at a time before downloading any information. Out of every 6 books, at least one of my records could not be found, or I received information about a completely different book by a different author. Also, most of my books that were published before 1970 are not searchable by ISBN at all and have to be entered manually. Very few of my classic sci-fi pieces are properly identified. Many of my older books aren't even listed as options, so…

Pros
  • This is amazing

  • Unbelievable price

Fantastic tool for small school libraries or home libraries

So first the bad: Even with international dates, he almost never accepts books produced outside the US. If you enable this feature, it will take a few minutes for the data to be received. I've never scanned more than 30 books at a time, but it can take a whopping 60-90 seconds to get the data back. And I would say that 1 in 20 books is returned incomplete or cannot be found. I would also say that 1 out of 20 shows a different name than the one scanned. This is due to multiple ISBN styles in…

Pros
  • Got it!

  • Slightly torn
