🧵 Skyline S3 Sewing Machine by Janome Review

I am very happy with this machine. I had no idea you could buy a car with so many "high" features at such an affordable price! I like that it sews evenly and quietly. It has all the features that experienced seamstresses would expect and appreciate, yet is easy to use for a beginner.

I've only had it a few weeks but I'm impressed. She sewed silk gauze like a dream and through 16 layers of medium weight fabric as easily as through two. The foot pedal is also incredibly responsive. I think the interface is simple enough for even a novice to understand, and you can switch to straight or zigzag with one click. It is very quiet during use and does not vibrate even at full power thanks to its very heavy weight. The delivery is also nice and smooth. I had my young daughter "help"…

I love Janome sewing machines so the decision to purchase the Skyline S3 as an upgrade for my little Janome model was not a difficult one. The reviews were great and I seemed to have everything I was looking for. Delivery was quick. I actually got it a day early. And the machine is amazing. My suggestion for the beginner sewer would be to start with a slightly smaller portable machine. But for the average/experienced seamstress this Skyline S3 is perfect.
