good when you need to make a hole in a hard-to-reach place in leather that is not too thick

This works quite well. The punch rotates when you press the handle. If you need to punch a hole in thick skin, he will let you down. It's cheap and serves its purpose. It falls into the "you get what you pay for" category. When you need to punch through the center of a large piece of leather and the punches don't reach, this is a viable alternative for the casual user. It is not designed for intensive use.

I will return it as soon as possible.

After about 2 attempts to punch the paper, the ring fell off. He just keeps going. I could glue it in place but to be honest this hole punch would barely go through 3 sheets of regular carbon paper without the need for multiple hole punches. My hand got tired after 5 minutes of use. The paper also doesn't seem to want to come out after breaking through everything. I tried it on thicker things. There is nothing easier in this tool. I'll look online for a replacement that actually works.

Great product when it works

This is a very good product. It's very useful and convenient when it works. The downside is I've used it maybe 15-20 times and it worked great but after that the black tip kept falling off no matter how hard I tightened the ring part. It keeps crashing even if I switch to another tip so I'm trying to figure out how to get it to stay. But it's less than $8-9, so you get that. I'll consider buying a few more and see if it happens again. Who knows. It could only be me.

Great product when it works

This is not a bad product at all. It's very useful and convenient when it works.
