Type of review

I once encountered a problem that was written about in another review - the sound disappeared. Headset light is on but no sound. It turned out that the whole thing is in the Type-C cable that goes into the headphones: it moved a little. I used a Samsung charging cable instead of the standard one. And he, an infection, freely enters / exits the headphones. And during the day, accidentally touching the cable, it departs. I tried two other cables: Digma and from a Xiaomi smartphone - they are…

Pros
  • I am writing a review after a month of daily use for 6-10 hours. Every day I communicate via voice (Discord, MS Teams), listen to music (, Spotify, YouTube), watch movies and play games. From main: - The sound quality is great! Both at low volume and at high volume. I don't want to shoot. - I hear interlocutors in the voice well and clearly. - If you want more bass - the equalizer significantly regulates them. There is even a BASS BOOST preset. But I'm comfortable with the FLAT preset. - Comfortably sit on the head. I was afraid that my ears would sweat because of the leather ear pads. But with an adequate temperature in the room (< 25 degrees), fears were not justified. - They write that the neck gets tired from older models (600, 800). Quantum 400 is lighter and does not feel on the head. I found them even lighter than my other SteelSeries gaming headsets. - The interlocutors in the voice say that they hear me well: the sound is clear and loud. - Convenient and smooth volume control on the headset itself. - Mute the microphone by lifting it or by a separate button on the headset. The backlight of the microphone tells you whether it is on or not. - I liked the function of the monitors - when you hear yourself, when you speak into the microphone. The volume level is adjustable up to mute. This removes the effect of "buzzing" in your ears, as if you are talking with earplugs, and it is very comfortable to talk. - Additional Chat/Music adjustment. When connected via USB, the headset is defined as two devices: one you use in communication applications (Discord), and output the rest of the sound to the other. And with a separate regulator on the headset, you adjust the balance: if you want to temporarily make the music or the sound in the game louder, and the interlocutors are quieter, you tweak it and you're done. You don't have to go through app settings. From the secondary: - Beautiful packaging! Perfect for a gift. - After installing JBL QuantumENGINE (this is a driver / settings panel), a firmware ate immediately came. It's good that even after the release, engineers fix bugs. - The price is lower than for analogues from SteelSeries (I'm talking about the Arctis series).
Cons
  • - USB-Type-C cable included is very long and hard. I used the cable from my Xiaomi phone. I didn't like the backlighting. Seemed twitchy. I would like a calm smooth change of colors. In the end, I turned it off completely. You can't see it on your head though :-)

Overall result: I took it at the start for 6k Initially, a very cool design and a pleasant sound, after 2 months the 1st mount cracked on the side of the microphone, after another 4 on the other side, after another 2 months the rotary mechanism cracked again on the side of the microphone, and after another ~ 5 months, the adjustments on top, ear pads began to peel off. And here we are fully working in terms of sound. And completely killed in terms of external condition and overall structural…

Pros
  • Great sound with software customization, separate volume wheel for gaming and voice chat companions.
Cons
  • After some 2 years of use, the headphones began to self-decompose apparently, otherwise I don’t know how to explain that everything on the factory glue began to peel off, and everything from plastic cracked. Due to a bad connector, after 1.5 years, the sound on the PC began to fall off periodically, you have to re-plug the cord into them.

Headphones were bought to replace Philips SBCHP200 which served me faithfully for about 10 years. JBLs fit perfectly on my head, soft ear cushions, my ears do not sweat. Due to the snug fit, the outside world is not heard if there is a little music playing. If you load it to the fullest, then the outside world practically does not hear what you are playing. A separate issue is surround sound. For me it's just a "gun". Listening to music is now a pleasure. The backlight is no longer needed here…

Pros
  • Soft ear pads Design Backlight surround sound Volume control Braided wire
Cons
  • The fact that there is a plus about the braided wire is also a minus, if the volume is low, then with some movements it rubs against clothes or a chair and transmits noise to the left earpiece

No joy in buying the product, it's not good.

After about half a year, the case began to crack despite the fact that the headphones were not dropped and were stored on a stand! As a result, they cannot be used. I thought that the reviews about the cracking case were written by those who handled them carelessly, and that this would definitely not happen to me. But after 5 months I noticed that a piece fell off from the inside of the earpiece, and now the whole earpiece is broken. A very bad model. I regret the purchase. I'll try to take…

Pros
  • Good sound Good sound insulation A good micro (which you can’t really set up really) Lungs
Cons
  • VERY fragile body (which eliminates all the advantages) 5000 thousand for half a year of work

The worst purchase in my life, dont repeat my mistake

I had different headphones, but these broke faster than headphones for 300 Pros: Beautiful headphones, comfortable ear pads, Type-c and jack, surround sound. Its cons: The fasteners broke after a month, do not take it from you so soon it will be like in the photo

I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

Ordinary ears, sit comfortably, do not fade. It is very convenient that two types of connection The sound is good, but I didn’t notice any “Wow! ” effect

Pros
  • Comfortable design, soft ear cushions Connection 3.5 jack and UCB-C Extra long USB cable Nice backlighting
Cons
  • Cable 3.5 looks flimsy Overpriced

No joy in buying the product, it's not good.

Periodically, their proprietary software "falls off". The lacquer on the cup began to peel off. MVideo was sent to the service center, where they succinctly answered "not a warranty case. "

Pros
  • Sound.
Cons
  • BY. Manufacturing quality. JBL and M Video's relationship to "warranty". The microphone does not always turn on in games - I don’t understand why. The USB cable is too hard - it's better to buy a softer one.

Not particularly happy with it, but it's mostly okay.

I was pleased with the headphones for 7 months, then the ear pads began to peel off . the leatherette began to peel off from the inner surface of the earpiece, and the glue on which they sat turned into sticky snot. also began to fall out the fabric in the darling

Pros
  • good sound
Cons
  • ear pads

The product suited me, I will recommend it to my friends.

While the 3D sound does not differ from the usual one, although when I switched it was different, but not so much as to feel that you are there. ingeniously, as done with a microphone, you raise it up and that's it, you can swear you still won't be heard.

Pros
  • Cool headphones, better than the Quantum 100,200 in assembly
Cons
  • So far, no

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

Excellent headphones, microphone sound recording at a decent level. You can sit all day - very comfortable and light. One big drawback that I encountered was that the volume control stopped working normally (((

Pros
  • The sound, they sit comfortably - I'm in them almost all day, the long type-C cable in the kit is very cool.
Cons
  • After 4 months, the volume control wheel stopped working normally - a huge fat minus

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product for me, no problems at all.

Pros: I liked the sound quality much more than the previous raisers. The quality of the materials is also top notch. Some cons: Wire, but for the money and set the sound quality is not found.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like the product, the quality did not disappoint.

Everything is good in the headphones. And the sound is good and they look pontovo. They sitcommfortably. My ears and head do not get tired, despite the fact that I sit in headphones for 10-12 hours without a break. The only disappointment was the microphone. Forcomnversations in Teamspeak and analogues, ofcomurse, it will do. But to stream with him or voice something - better forget it. I have been actively using it for 3 months now. If anyone is interested in exactly how the microphone sounds,

Pros
  • In general, good headphones, I like everything except the microphone. About him below.
Cons
  • I don’t know what the hell is this, but the microphone eats frequencies very hard and the sound is as if you are talking through your nose. I don't understand the reason. It looks like they have a built-in noise suppressor. Probably because of him. Then why is there no regulator for it? Neither on the headphones, nor in the software. The microphone is not adjustable. Its maximum is on/off.

I purchased these headphones to replace my other SVEN AP-U980MV headset. I liked the design, and the experience with the JBL campaign was positive. At first I liked the design and convenience, I had to get used to it a little, but now I almost don’t feel the headset on my head, my ears don’t sweat in it. But then the pandemonium began. Firstly, the headset on the computer refused to work without the off program. site and by default (this function is enabled in the headphones themselves, BUT…

Pros
  • normal sound Ability to work with multiple devices Quite comfortable on the head
Cons
  • Terrible sound problems (see comment) The microphone is worse than the headset almost three times cheaper More expensive than ogues A useless sound source control, when connected via a jack, it does not work, but when working via usb, it rather interferes. Either you can’t hear the people with whom you communicate, then they shout over other sound sources. There were no such problems in the past, as a result I play "DJ".

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didnt expect the quality to be so high.

I purchased headphones only for high-quality sound, after all, JBL's strong point is sound, not a microphone, so consider these headphones only for listening. With the JBL Engine application (free), the sound is just a bomb + convenient location of the sound control keys, the distinctive ability of this model is that you can separately adjust the conversation (Skype and ds) and the rest of the sound, but apparently because of this, audio broadcasting in Skype does not work and discord. In…

Pros
  • Great sound. fit well on the head! Sound control buttons are conveniently located
Cons
  • The microphone is just awful! Fabric cable transmits vibrations to headphones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

A very comfortable headset with a built-in sound card (when connected via USB or wirelessly for older models). This model (400) is optimal among others, it has important advantages of older models (working with software for surround sound) and lacks the disadvantages of younger models (improved ergonomics and added USB connection). A wireless connection in case you absolutely do not need to use it for a stationary PC, as well as active noise suppression itself (passive one is enough). I am…

Pros
  • - Sound - Build quality - Ergonomics - Easy to set up - Acceptable microphone with voice monitor function
Cons
  • Possible crash when working with Quantum Engine software. Everything works correctly out of the box, but when I decided to set up the main sound card, something went wrong and the headphones were no longer detected by the system . more precisely, they were detected normally, but there was no sound. Restarting services (or just restarting the PC) didn't help. Complete removal of Quantum Engine and installation from scratch helped. But it's more of just a little glitch.

I will never make this purchase again.

Its pros: Windows 10, 7.1 is selected in Windows, the equalizer-FPS is set in QuantumEngine and QuantumSurround is enabled with advanced head settings. In games I choose either 7.1 or 5.1. In CS GO, you can definitely hear how someone looked at the scope from behind-left on the 2nd floor. In Warthunder, you can hear all the tanks around, who is shooting or driving where. When I lowered the microphone, it worked, it's convenient. After a year of use, I left the usual 2.0 without all these improv

Advanced gaming headphones with average sound and slightly overpriced Its pros: + Strict design + There is a backlight + Type-C connector for connection, the cable can be changed at any time to a more convenient one + Can be connected via 3.5 Jack + Light weight, even after a long time in the headphones there is no fatigue. They sit well on the head. + Microphone mutes when raised Cons below: - Plastic headband. Many complain about the assembly. I have no problems after 2.5 months of careful…

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

Has pros: Cool sound Greatest microphone Customizable backlight Microphone activity indicator lights red when not active Has some cons: When you touch the cable, you can hear the rustling in the headphones Even in shooters, you will have to relearn how to hear steps if you used to play on headphones without virtual 3D

They served me for a year and a half, I endured this wheel for half a year, and I'm already tired of it. I bought hyperX, the sound is better there, but now they put a lot of pressure on my head. It can be added to the advantage of jbl that they sit very freely on the head, and the head never hurt. Its pros: I liked the appearance, the backlight is adjustable, the application is of high quality, the wheel for transferring the volume from the discord to the game and vice versa. The bass is good.
