🚗 JeCar Metal Tail Light Guard Cover for 2018-2021 Jeep Wrangler JL Sport/Sports - Pair (Durable Off-Road) Review

I've worn them for a couple of weeks and they look great on my 18 Sahara JL. No issues with them falling off like some of the other reviews say. I would just clean up the scope really well before installing. There seems to be a thicker "sticky" area to help hold it up too, but so far so good.

I can't understand the negative reviews on these tail light grids, for the price they are great! I'm not sure how much they actually protect the taillights, but they add a great looking accessory and are easy to install! As mentioned by others you can use thicker/stronger double sided tape but the one provided works great if you take your time and install it carefully.

Mounting tape is too thin and if you don't line up the guards EXACTLY the first time the tape won't hold them. I retaped mine with thicker 3M Extreme Tape and they seem to stick in place. Thicker tape gives more freedom of action. However, they are of good quality and look good on the jeep. They will only fit the Wrangler "JL" model with standard taillights (they will not fit LED light retrofits).

That's ok. One of mine was slightly bent when I received it. It's just peel and stick the tape. The tape is already glued, it remains only to remove the protective film. Ok for the price, but cheap. Since they're mostly there for decoration, I wouldn't rely on them to really protect the lenses of the lights. The tape is not very good. UPDATE - As I said, double sided tape sucks! Don't buy this! I recently ordered a metal JeCar tail light guard for my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL. The seller was very nice and helpful, answered my questions quickly and shipped this item to me quickly. When it arrived it was packaged very well. As soon as I looked at it, I knew it would be a welcome addition to my Jeep. I was able to attach both protective covers myself. I was a little surprised that on my JL 2021 they didn't even cover all the light but simply abutted against a recess in the canopy. Seems pointless when the edge of your light hits a branch, but be careful. I noticed that I didn't enlarge the picture, so it's my fault. We cleaned the area, went to the installation.
