I really like, many devices of this type no longer have a headphone jack. I understand the headphone jack was probably mapped to an MP3 player jack, but I wanted both and got it. The sound is great, just wish the blue light wasn't so bright. And when it's off the time isn't visible at all. But I don't care, I like it.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Hardly used and now won't turn on. I bought the extended warranty because it only comes with a 90% limited warranty. Square Trade said I would have to contact the manufacturer to have it repaired or replaced. I was told that it is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty. What a waste of money. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT

Reviews were mixed so I was a little skeptical about buying it. I needed something for my home office, primarily for listening to FM radio with listening to CDs. The price was definitely right. I'm pretty picky about sound, but I have no problem with this system. I'm in a small room so the volume shouldn't be very high, so maybe that's part of the problem. I am very happy with this purchase.

My 12 year old loves it. It fits nicely on a shelf in her room, but in time we'll be hanging it up. She feels quite grown up with the remote control despite being right at the head of her bed. She's been using it every day for a month and so far so good. I'm very happy with it, especially for the price. I've spent more on cartoon character radios that didn't sound as good or didn't last more than 6 months.

Not satisfied. Someone else described it as a large alarm clock and I think that description fits the money. Of course one shouldn't expect too much for the money, but my low expectations weren't mine either. The audio is metallic, you can't read the time when the system is off, and the remote is useless unless you're close enough to use the normal controls. After ordering the Jensen JMC180 I read more reviews and wish I could cancel my order. I'm glad I didn't cancel my order! Interestingly, customers who said the remote didn't have a power or volume button actually ordered because the remote does pretty much everything. I wanted a compact AM/FM/CD unit to listen to music through headphones while reading in bed. This Jensen suits my purposes. It is easy to install and operate and does not take up much space. I bought this CD player from Jensen so I can listen to CDs while I'm around my apartment.
