Better quality than the photo shows on ebay description.

Although it was a gift, I selected it myself. I chose it for the holes it has to help scribe lines on materials. I wish it had one for the 3/8 " mark as I think most woodworkers scribe lines on the center of a 3/4 " board. I was little worried about the quality because the photos I looked at makes it look flimsy. It feels hefty however. I ordered another one for my son whose birthday is coming up.

Pros
  • Measuring & Layout Tools
Cons
  • The square may not be suitable for complex woodworking projects

It works and is very well made.

It's perfectly square so very useful. I especially like the little lever that keeps it in place on your workpiece. Also as stated above it feels of very good quality. I like it.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • The square may not be accurate enough for precise carpentry work

Can’t beat the tool or the price

Since finding Kapro toos, I can’t say enough good things about them. This latest purchase is no exception. From the minute you unpack this you’ll appreciate the quality as well as the accuracy. Checked against a machinist square I was very please with the trueness of the inside and outside angles, the 45 and 30 degree are true as well. Use the flip out ledge support and you’ll never pick up your old try square again. Add to this the pencil holes set at 1/4 intervals for precise marking and…

Pros
  • The Try & Mitre Square can be used for a variety of leveling and measuring tasks
Cons
  • The square may not be suitable for measuring angles beyond 90 degrees
