Bent during use - tools and equipment

Instructions were not supplied very well and it bent a bit when I used it to disconnect the fuel line from the filter. -1 star for flexing after only 1 use.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not the best

but it works great. Installing fuel filter line on my F150

takes time to figure out how to use but works great. Fits my F150 fuel filter line. Just make sure you depressurize the fuel lines and everything or you'll spray yourself with fuel. Put on your glasses if you can.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Negative Impression

Item as best described in Fuel System Tools

There have been no issues or problems using this tool. However, Ford makes assembly a bit difficult. This tool greatly simplifies the process of removing the fuel line fitting. I would order replacement clips from Revain to replace the OEM clip in case the clip fails when trying to remove it. Otherwise, this tool is of good quality and should last quite a long time.

Pros
  • Stylish and Modern Design
Cons
  • Some Issues

Works perfect. fits tools and equipment

Remember, if you haven't changed the fuel filter for a long time, there is a chance that some crude oil will collect at the point where the fuel line is pressed against the filter. That's what I found when the tool didn't pull the cord out right away. I shot some WD40 into the fuel line clamps, waited a minute or two and the tool worked great. Also remember that the filter is filled with gas even when the fuel pump is off. So if you turn it sideways to pull it out, the gas will flow out. Be…

  • Absolutely amazing!

The Right Tool for Ford Fuel Lines

This is the right tool when you need to work on Ford fuel lines. Some universal tools are not long enough to fully penetrate and dislodge the connector. It has the extra length it needs. It's not made in the USA as stated in the product description, but it's still decent quality and has a better metallic finish than the really cheap ones. I used this tool to remove the lines on the fuel filter and fuel pump on a 1994 Ford Explorer. It fits the lines of this car perfectly and I had no problem…

2001 Ford f150 5.4 Works great

Used to replace the fuel filter. A breeze, took 5 minutes with a smaller diameter fitting. The tool arrived quickly and looks like it will last a lifetime for this truck and the next. The steps I followed were: 1. Open the gas cap (the truck sat overnight) 2. Depressurize the fuel rail valve on the passenger side of the engine's fuel rail with a rag to catch the fuel3. Underneath the truck on the driver's side along the chassis frame, loosen the quick release clamps that secure the fuel lines…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Has fault

If you've almost lost your mind trying to remove the fuel filter from your Ford F150 with those stupid quick couplers that are ridiculous to disconnect, this is the tool you need to need. I've tried these white plastic round connectors and they work on fuel pump fittings, but they are too short to work with a filter. They're cheaper than this tool, but useless, so it doesn't matter. I will be selling mine in the near future as this tool is the only one I needed originally and I intend to keep…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Compatibility
