    Easy hookup

    Installed these alarms in my house and 4 of my apartments to replace old blocks that have become obsolete. Multiple alarms are wirelessly linked to allow simultaneous detection and alerting. A 10-year battery means there will be no battery problems during the alarm's 10-year lifespan if it needs to be replaced. The wireless communication process couldn't be simpler.     So far so good Good for safety

    My previous Kidde wireless smoke alarms have reached their 10 year lifespan. Because this new series uses the same AC connector, plugging in was easy. a protrusion in the center rear of these units, making installation into an AC junction box difficult when multiple wires are present.     Good alarm, photoelectric sensors less prone to false alarms, user-friendly interface

    We had a fire alarm near the kitchen that kept going off while we were cooking. It turned out to be the ionization type so I replaced it with this photovoltaic model and haven't had any problems since. The good thing is that all Kidde smoke alarms (regardless of type) communicate via wire, so they all beep when one of them is triggered.     I ordered 4 of these to replace 4 old Kidde alarms that were nearing the end of their life. They use the same wiring harness, so installation should be easy.
