I needed something for my IT support job so that I could always have something on hand to test customers' computers in situations where their monitor went out etc. This thing came in really handy many times before it always did after a year still works great. or so.

If a good small monitor, nothing special. We bought it for use with a CCTV system and it works well for a flat wall mount. Easy to read control panel!

According to the description it is IPS. This is clearly not true. The quality is much worse than expected. When I opened the box, I saw fingerprints on the device and instructions. If all you want is a small screen, this works. I use it for my live chat application and it does the job well considering I don't have desktop space for a full second monitor.

The first block failed. I sent it back to Revain for a second unit and so far so good. Sharpness is acceptable, colors are a bit fuzzy, but that's not a problem. I mainly use it to focus my DSLR and it's good for that. For the price it's acceptable and we'll see how durable this second device is. Feb 18 18. The same problem occurred with the second block. There are a few dead pixels. Sent it back for a replacement. For this type of electronics, 2 hits and you're out. Wouldn't recommend again.

Works great, I'm a cable TV installer and not everyone has a TV available to test boxes. Also, it's easy to move into each room so I don't need the client to walk from room to room for me.

great screen, i use it for my raspberry pi and it works great. The speakers are louder than you think, but don't turn them on or they might burst. The stand is solid and adjustable, my only concern is that I wish you could stop turning left to right as well. You can adjust it but not lock it.

I bought mine to serve as a console for a Linux server. That works fine. Odd resolution will result in distorted text, but I don't care. It tells the system to support a different resolution and I couldn't even get X to switch to the native resolution. So the Linux console is good, the Linux GUI is not.

For the money the monitor looks okay except the setup screens are flipped/upside down. The documentation is a very simplified sheet. Does anyone know how to solve this problem. I will increase the stars if the problem is fixed otherwise the monitor will come back tomorrow. I just fixed the upside down screen with a button on the screen without using the remote and upgraded my rating to 4 stars. Next I will see how it works with the Raspberry Pi.

I used this monitor to replace the one in my car reversing system. Installation was very easy and the monitor works well New!

I didn't just give this two stars because I understand it's not meant to be used the way I used it, but I still have to write it. I have used it as a monitor to run large screens for events, this was my preview. Screen so I can see what's playing. These things randomly decide when to work, and can send signals to your hardware (an HDMI splitter in my case), causing everything to turn off immediately. Not reliable out of the box.

It works with the HDMI outputs on my original Raspberry Pi computer, Raspberry Pi 2 and CHIP computers with no setup required other than selecting the HDMI input on the LCD. However, the display is quite dark even at maximum brightness. Another annoyance is that a broken, permanently installed cable comes out at the bottom that I don't use or don't want. Also, the custom lettering along the top does a great job of making the piece look very cheesy.

A screen was required to display screen settings, which almost all A/V receivers use. My shop has a stereo receiver but you really need a screen to set it up. Or view information about the USB playback capabilities. I didn't need or want a big screen to take up space. It was cheap. Of course you can buy Mega Super Wall TV. But as a last resort, if you don't need luxury, this little monitor works great. Don't know if it has sound. I didn't buy it for the sound. I bought it to control my Android TVs while setting them up for various uses. So I can easily connect, configure and disconnect. Again and again. And it's super easy. Imagine the problems with the Mega Super Wall TV.
