Lion Brand Yarn Cream UNICORN Review

I bought this to make a blanket for a baby who is due in the fall. It feels very soft and snuggly and is perfect for a young child.

This yarn is very soft and makes a great baby blanket. He caresses very nicely. Color transitions are not sharp either. The yarn is thinner than I would like but it works. I'm tempted to get this in other colors now.

I love this yarn! Ordered recently. Here is a baby blanket I knit from just 1 ball. From a ball of yarn I made a blanket and also a hat. See the photo I've attached. The yarn is very soft and the colors are so wonderful for a baby. Very happy with my purchase!

This yarn is soft and the bright colors are ideal for a child of unknown gender. But the texture is uneven. It suddenly becomes thinner, which makes the seams uneven. I've only finished 7 rows of the blanket I'm knitting and this has happened to me several times. I wouldn't buy it again just hoping the blanket is strong enough.

I have been ordering this yarn since June because I am making a blanket. Unfortunately the yarn on the last 2 I received is very thin, almost like thread, and it breaks. gotta finish my quilt. But I can't do that with this yarn, I think it was a defective lot, the rest ordered from June were fine. Please help me I need to finish a quilt for a gift, thanks

I was able to knit 5 hats with this yarn. Although intended for baby blankets, it is so soft that it is ideal for making hats for chemo patients. I was also able to solve a tangling problem I had when I first used a skein of this yarn. I pulled the yarn from the outside of the skein and it didn't tangle until I finished the fifth hat. At this point I rolled the leftovers into a ball and didn't encounter any mats at all! This is great yarn!

I've used Lion Brand yarn on many projects including this baby blanket using Lion Brand #922-203 Ice Cream Big Scoop Yarn in Blueberry. The yarn is easy to use, beautiful shades of blue, soft, easy to wash and dry. I usually wash in a laundry bag or pillowcase to avoid pilling but it holds its shape and looks good. I highly recommend this product. It also comes in strawberry and other colors! Only one of them is needed to complete this quilt. approx. size: 32" x 36"

Will I ever love this yarn. It's beautiful, slightly irregular, divine colors and it really is a yarn to knit into adorable little things. For me, knitting is knitting a baby hat. I love that the skein has colors that are very girly and very boyy. Check out my reviews to see what others I keep buying. The yarn comes in pink/purple or blue with some yellow or green. I don't buy "girly" strands that are a bit blue. I also don't buy pink or purple boy yarns. There are many Lion Brand yarns in the…
