Much easier to use - no mess!

Yes, it costs more but will probably last forever and won't have to deal with falls. Worth the cost. This could be the last blue Loctite you will ever buy.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Has issues

It does its job very well, good edc locktite

This thing is tricky to glue onto small screws and if you're not careful you can loosen the glue stick from the tube by pushing it way down too turn . FYI, this stuff smells awful and you can easily fill a small space with odors after working with it for a while.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Compatibility

Laptop hinges needed tightening, so far so good, but time will tell

Laptop hinges became loose after a while. Hoping it will be safe indefinitely. I only used a small portion of this and it looks like the air is oxidizing the top of the stick. Will look for future uses but there may be an expiration date. Regardless, so far so good.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Can't remember

BAD TANK - Sealant

You need to pry off the lid of the tank and coat the bolt with blue goo. I guess I could have twisted like a lipstick container to squeeze out the slime. Never had any luck with the lipstick case either. It doesn't really matter that much, but everything should work as it should and not fall apart in your hands.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Something else

Better than liquid for some purposes.

LocTite glue stick is very hard to find in auto parts stores. It's a lot less messy than dripping pipes. It's far easier to rub a stick over a set of screws and bolts before using them than to drip onto the liquid and store it in a bowl. I used to use it at work where it was provided but since I retired it's hard to find.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Dirt Free Retainer

This Threadlocker Bar allows you to apply sealant evenly and cleanly to a fastener. This is my top choice for the blue formula with medium threadlocker. Blue-formulated fasteners can be removed with hand tools. Be careful when using small diameter fasteners as they can be very difficult to loosen. For fasteners smaller than 0.25", use Green's low strength formula.

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Eh It's the blue thing, but the bottle/dropper is better.

I love the blue threadlocker on almost every screw or bolt I work with to keep them in place. I've seen this and it might be "better" because I could just wrap the thread around the stick and it would do the same thing. And it is, don't get me wrong. BUT. It dries out FAST. When I first removed the cap, the initial 1/8 inch or so was already cured. So I removed it. Skip to new content. I've used it for carving on a number of laptops that I've serviced. Good work. the cap is put back on and two…

Pros
  • Sleek and modern design
Cons
  • I'm silent

Best way to buy Locktite

If you're here I assume you already know what this does, but basically it keeps the screws from loosening solve yourself. The blue color is not permanent, which means that if you need to adjust or remove this screw, you can remove it with enough force. The red version is meant to be permanent and is VERY difficult to get out. For most uses like pocket knives or small cars you want blue because it holds screws very well, I personally have never seen it fail. It is also possible to remove and…
