Nothing unusual, normal product.

I do not understand fanaticism in this form. A good office mouse for surfing the Internet at 400 dpi with an increase in Windows sensitivity (to be imbued with the spirit of Microsoft 3.0, so to speak). "How can a mouse with such a cool sensor and ultra-fast clicks be called an office mouse ?". Because the main thing in a gaming mouse is shape and weight - if they are not suitable for competitive shooter games, there is no point in considering everything else in a mouse. In this regard, the…

Pros
  • cool sensor good clicks Excellent wire Added glide around sensor compared to older variants (G400s and below) Programmable button (lowest in the middle) That's all
Cons
  • Weight more than 100 grams is insanely much by today's standards. Controlled hard Office form. The ring finger should lie on the ledge to the right of the RMB - with other grips, either the ledge interferes, or there is no control at all Glides are medium Side buttons are blindly groped hard Scroll sucks In general, all the disadvantages of the absolutely outdated MX510 series and above are in place. Plus, you can expect branded Logitech double clicks due to the low debounce time, which do not fit the omrons they set - COOL

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

I advise everyone who has increased requirements for performance, not enough claw and who does not dislike high-quality gloss. Pros: 1) Best value for money 2) The best sensor at the moment 3) Wonderful cord, does not get in the way 4) Comfortably lies in the hand and the thumb lies comfortably, but depending on which grip Cons below: 1) If you have a "claw" grip, then you are unlikely to fit 2) Personally, I don’t really like gloss, matte plastic is more pleasant 3) The wheel could be made at…

For me, the form, reliability and silence of work were important. When buying, I decided that the sound certainly would not be louder than ordinary X7 mice from A4 Tech and decided that it would do, but as it turned out, the buttons had a sore spot. Often you have to work in silence when your family is asleep, such heartbreaking sounds from clicks have never been heard before. Maybe I got a marriage because the claim is only to the left button, the rest works fine.

Pros
  • It fits well under my not small palm, large sliding pads work out with a bang.
Cons
  • Loud buttons. Not a clear press of the left button, with a weak press from the button, a rattle is heard.

I don't recommend buying this product, there's nothing to praise here.

Cheap Logitech products are not suitable for osu type games! and geometry dash, because most likely the mikriks will not endure such violence.

Pros
  • good sensor, comfortable, good design.
Cons
  • LMB started double-clicking already six months after I started using the mouse. The gloss is terribly scratched.

Perfect product for any user!

Legend. A holiday for all old schoolers. It is with these words that I would like to begin my story. My first acquaintance with the products of the Swiss company Logitech began back in 2022, when the new MX500 appeared on the market. As I remember the price - about 1500. Then it was a lot of money for a mouse, but I never regretted after the purchase, since this mouse worked for me until 2022, after which it was given to a friend who still sits with it! Here is the quality! Why did I give it…

Pros
  • The perfect shape of a mouse, an unsurpassed classic. Innovative HERO 16K sensor (sensor resolution 16000 dpi), built-in memory for up to 5 profiles that can be changed without installing software, one-click sensitivity adjustment (also up to 5 sensitivity modes). Stylish appearance, lightweight.
Cons
  • The mouse is almost perfect in every way. A small minus, which I can note is the glossy coating, which, although very pleasant to the hand, accumulates dirt, especially in symbiosis with a sweaty hand (which happens often, given the purpose for which the mouse was bought). I would also like to see the glowing Logitech logo in the new reincarnation like the G Pro model - this is the main "flaw" that I can note for myself.

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

To start, a little background. Before that, I used Logitech G102, which was my first mouse. After some time, a double click appeared on it, and since I permanently need a computer, I decided to buy a new mouse, but better. The choice fell on the MX518 Legendary for the simple reason that for me the main thing in a mouse is the wheel. And here it is optical, and even for such a small price. I ordered it on Aliexpress (Original, of course), since it was 2 times cheaper there than here in the…

Pros
  • + Form. + Wheel. + Buttons. + Wire. + Weight balance in the middle. + Ease of care. + Materials that are almost impossible to somehow kill and that almost never get dirty.
Cons
  • - The weight. - A dubious minus, but it seems that it would be better if the top panel was monotonous.

Disgusting quality, impossible to use.

there was nothing left of convenience except the old patterns. Logitech! you don't care! terribly ruined a good device! I am deeply annoyed! what to do with this mouse now. take it back to the store? try to reproduce the soft-touch aerosol for the restoration of auto-seats? or smash it against the wall to relieve the stress of frustration?. one thing is clear - I'm resoldering a sticky click on a 10-year-old mx518 and I will send exclusively obscene curses to lgbtjitek now I'm offered to…

Pros
  • this is the third iteration of a vintage mouse that is being re-released for a very comfortable, truly ergonomic shape. perhaps the person in charge had a contract with the devil for the design of this mouse, but the expiration date has expired
Cons
  • Materials have changed! instead of a soft-touch coating on the sides, there is now rough but slippery plastic. The old mouse sits like a glove in the hand, while the new one slides between the thumb and forefinger when rearranging. THIS IS TERRIBLE! Instead of matte plastic on top - glossy, the palm and fingers glide on it! The mouse is 5 grams lighter, which feels uncomfortable in the hand, but that's the least of the worries. There is less mass in front of the mouse, the center of gravity has shifted back. because of this, when rearranging, the back outweighs and the mouse does not stand parallel to it on the surface. to keep the cursor at the same height when moving, you have to forcefully hold the mouse between your index finger and thumb. The brush got tired in 5 minutes! The clicks are twice as loud! Instead of an optical sensor, now a laser one. Today I will test it in action, but after a couple of days of using the rx1000, the impressions from the laser are downright sad.

Nothing unusual, normal product.

I decided to purchase this mouse due to the fact that A4Tech X7 738 BK has some kind of freezes, disconnections and problems in the wire; I don’t want to solder, etc., etc., so I decided to purchase this mouse to replace the old one But with regards to the sensor, it is clear that this one has better things with smoothness and aiming, although I don’t play shooters mainly only in DoTa 1 What on the old one, what on this one turned out to be a comfortable value for me at 3200 DPI With the same…

Pros
  • Somehow, products from Logitech inspire confidence, taking into account my long use of the K260, although competitors that are younger also do not periodically roll out bad solutions to the market Appearance "such" is not flashy and attracts attention even without the lack of LGBT backlighting, although the design is of course an amateur, like many other things for each of us It is possible that someone will be hooked by ergonomics; it suits me (la), but only "in part"
Cons
  • I don’t know how it is with others, not due to the width and length of the mouse, during use, I often don’t know where to attach my ring finger, this is not always felt, but sometimes there is a clear feeling of “where” to put the ring finger; and what a shame, but my hands and palm are really large, which is common in people :) I have seen better materials than they used in the production of this mouse, although there is no frank disappointment from the materials I really didn’t like scrolling exactly how it sounds and feels like someone is starting to work with a hacksaw under the arm But there are no complaints about the accuracy and the reaction itself of the scroll; let's hope that perhaps this "carpenter effect" will pass with time :) The G Hub proprietary software only started up normally once after the first installation, and in the following days it tries to download and ate something; I can’t go into this G HUB and somehow complete the more “fine” settings; As a result, I have it installed but it does not open and does not allow me to somehow configure the profile; I don’t know why and because of what .

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

I am not a professional cs player, and to be honest, I never wanted to become one. I just love this game, and I play when I have the mood and time. Earlier in the shaggy years, I played a lot for teams with a sponsor, many people suggested that I move to more eminent squads. I've been playing since 2022 (yes, old bearded OLD) By nature, I'm meticulous, and I treat all technology with trepidation)) I love gadgets, etc. In cs, I mostly play on csdm servers, 300-400 frags each way only))) I used…

Unsuccessful purchase, I am disappointed.

After "tsat" years, the original, once bought, Logitech MX518 began to die. I saw that they made the reincarnation of their most successful model - I bought it. The quality is just terrible. It is lighter than the original. For some office mouse, this parameter probably does not matter much, but for a gaming mouse, it is important. The sound of pressing like a Chinese mouse for 500. Much louder than the original. Thin wire. I don't know how critical this is. But the wire, which is slightly…

Pros
  • Design of the original mx518
Cons
  • - Loud click - Too light for a gaming mouse - Scroll - Thin wire - Price quality

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

In general, the mouse, apparently, is for some fans of some old mouse, of which it is the reincarnation, and which I never had. I had to get used to some of the features. Initially set 4, because. in general, the mouse is not bad. With branded software - it's already quite comfortable to use, so I raise the rating to 5. The last question remains - about reliability - now only time will tell how long it will last

Pros
  • Super sensor. It positions the mouse clearly, it works fine. But I can't attribute it to big pluses. This is the minimum requirement for any mouse. What use cases might need 16000 DPI? I set myself the main mode 4000. There is nothing to say about other qualities. How reliable the buttons will turn out to be, the wheel - only time will tell, while I still use it too little. The wheel on the old A4 Tech mouse came off after 6 years. : After some time of use, I installed proprietary G Hub software. And reconfigured the sensitivity levels the way I like. The program is excellent, with it a completely different experience of use - very convenient. Pressed one button - the mouse moves slowly, pressed another - quickly. At the same time, a pop-up window appears in the Windows notification area with a notification of what accuracy is currently set in DPI. Comfortable!
Cons
  • Mark Corps. A month later, the logo has already begun to peel off. On the left, the notch for the thumb is incomprehensible. I can't get used to it, I feel it all the time. Not very comfortable. It took a long time to get used to the location of the side buttons (back and forth) - they are a little low for my grip - all the time I accidentally pressed the back button when I just wanted to take the mouse stronger. Like I'm used to it. Also, without installing G Hub proprietary software, it is inconvenient to switch DPI - there is no indication on the mouse itself which level is currently set. On the old A4 Tech, the switch button changed color and I knew exactly what level was set. Here you have to switch, pull the mouse, and purely visually guess by the speed of the cursor on the screen. Or count the number of clicks up, the number of clicks down. By default, the accuracy levels are set unsuccessfully, in my opinion. However, with the installation of software and reconfiguration for themselves, this minus disappears.

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

I was looking for a replacement for the old G400 for a very long time, but there was nothing like it when I finally came across the news that Logitech is reviving the legendary MX518. Ordered right there. The most important thing for which the mouse was taken is a very convenient form, and here everything is one on one with the old one. But, unfortunately, unlike 400, the surface is not matte-rough, but smooth and glossy, so it gets dirty just INSTANTLY. If the old one was cleaned every 1-2…

Pros
  • - Legendary ergonomic shape - Good sensor - Clarity of clicks and scrolling - soft wire - Convenient wheel
Cons
  • - Glossy stained surface - Spontaneous change of accuracy modes - Noisy - Price

Finally had to replace my G400

Feels great, laser sensor much better than optical sensor which went mad if it hit a small hair or so so almost the same as 3 other mice of this shape I use me for 19 years. Dislikes: The software needs to be changed, I've used the Logitech Gaming Software for a long time and it worked with that, but I had to unplug and plug it in again every time to get it to remember the bindings. So I had to get G Hub working while everything was fine, but it didn't really import all of my settings. The…

Return of the King

I was heartbroken when my old MX 518 died a few years ago. This was the best gaming mouse I have ever owned. Logitech has completely coped with the ergonomics of the 518. I have never found a suitable replacement. I'm not a fan of the new Logitech mice. They have great sensors but very poor ergonomics with sharp edges and poor button placement. It seems like someone finally stopped by Logitech. The redesigned 518 combines the best of both worlds: the ergonomics of the 518 body combined with a…

i really hate it on PC

My FinalMouse is dying and I need a replacement. I ordered this based on numerous news reports and its impeccable reviews. The clicking is very loud, there is a lot of resistance and the scroll wheel can be felt. mealy? I can't think of a better way to put it. It's somehow loose, dense, and grainy (like there's dust in the work) all at the same time. I'm sick of clicking and scrolling the wheel - they just feel so bad. And I'm one of those people who never thought I'd say that about mice - I…

Update: I love my Logitech MX518 now!

Update: I found a simple hack. if you like the original MX518 rubber pad on the side. Try a kitchen door bumper (cork seems better, it's softer) and your pinky will love you! 💖When Logitech announced the re-release of the MX518. I was so excited having loved my original 518 for so many years! BUT even though Logitech claimed it was the exact same design. They didn't mention that they now use a slick plastic case (sticky palm) and removed the rubber pads on the sides (poor wee little pain from…

non-standard mice; What is the new mouse supposed to be?

Quality control issues: I ordered the MX518 Legendary as soon as it became available as I remember my original MX518 being so great for years. so i have a spare. That's when I noticed that the clicks between them are very different. One feels sticky, hard to press while the other has a longer travel. Both should be new, but feel so different that I doubt there's any quality control at all. Gaming: In games where you have to constantly tap to move, both new Mx518s had a sticky click or it was…

Great return of the best accessory

Wow, I've always been surprised to see Logitech bring back the best gaming mouse ever! Believe it or not, I still use my original MX518 that I bought in 2005! It has never failed me, so I hesitated to buy it for fear of my original's evil eye. However, I decided to buy it at the office and I am very satisfied. It has the same shape, look and feel as the original, but it has some new technologies. The only difference in feel is the non-glossy bits on the sides and around the scroll wheel. The…

Amazing device. The legends are true.

I've been a Logitech fan for years, ever since I started playing PC games. I won't lie, I haven't really tried anything other than Logitech, but I have pretty much every major mouse in their gaming line. G403, G502, G Pro, G302 and G300s. I've always wanted to try the MX518 because of its shape, but haven't been able to until now. I have to say this is probably the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. The shape is similar to the G502, but it has eliminated the unnecessary elements of this…

Just got it in the mail today and WOW!

I've been involved in the PC gaming community for many years, mostly playing FPS games like Counterstrike, Call of Duty, Overwatch and so on to the top; So I've used many mice over the years to name a few: Zowie fk-1, zowie ec1-A, logitech g703, logitech g203, logitech g403 and Razer Deathadder and none of them feel as comfortable in the hand ( hybrid palm and claw) and as accurate as the hero sensor in this updated mx518 version. I've always heard good things about the original mx518, but I…
