easy and inexpensive.

is great for a small project I was working on. You need to hold down to keep the edge of the stencil sharp.

Love! I'm making cookie trays for a client for Christmas and these turned out to be the best templates for the job. These are thin plastic stencils. But as long as you take care of them, they make drawing a lot easier.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • There are nuances

Great end product.

For the most part they work. The only downside is that there are so many stencils on one page that when you stencil with spray paint it's difficult to glue them together. Otherwise - the design is beautiful and of course a beautiful end product!

Pros
  • Wide choice
Cons
  • Vulgarity

really thin and cheap material

I thought it would be a great craft product not only because of the Martha Stewart name but also because of the higher price than a regular stencil (many of them $5) and it was really bad. Don't try to use this on larger projects like wall stencils as I could hardly keep it in one place just for drawing and painting.

Pros
  • easy to apply
Cons
  • almost everything is ok

Center the template in the middle of a .

The middle template in the middle of the right one is round and the pieces on the outside are so loose that one came loose on first use. Since one was missing, I had no choice but to cut the rest to fit. Some of them are a little brittle and I think some of the designs should have been made out of thicker plastic to hold them up.

Pros
  • Drawing and Writing Aids
Cons
  • No performance

Not the fine velum I wanted. No velum at all.

I used the template as shown in the image. This product is a thin plastic, not a thin velvet. In the photo you need to apply the stencil to the back of the stencil to get the desired result. I had to paint a lot with a regular brush to get a thin border line. I used chalk paint maybe it would be different with acrylic but the stencil is thick so I don't think so. I will not be buying any more Martha Stewart stencils in the future.

Pros
  • Image
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Fun Stencil

I ordered this shell stencil to make a set of coasters and tablecloths. When I pulled out the stencil, it was thinner than I expected. When erasing the paint, I had to be careful not to bend the protruding little pieces. The first time I used a stencil I used a brush and strokes and when I pulled the stencil out the paint came under the stencil. Then I decided it would be better if I smeared with a brush rather than strokes. When I removed the stencil it worked like a charm! You can also apply…
