🔒 Master Lock 1535DWD Locker Lock - Set Your Own Combination Padlock, 1 Pack, in Assorted Colors Review

I just bought this and from the packaging I can tell it's not good. First it opened on "loct", "Locd" and "lock", when it should only open on "Lock". I'm one of those people who always mix up combination locks and lock myself up. I have no lockpicking skills. I opened this lock by feeling it turn. I think it would actually be safer to leave your gym locker unlocked and hope no one disturbs your belongings than to draw attention to it with this thing.

This 4 letter combination lock is a great idea. It's pretty easy to set up and use. However, after 5 months of alternate daily use in high school, the lock stuck and wouldn't budge. There seems to be a design flaw inside the lock that makes it easy to jam after opening. I used pliers to pry it out of its clamped position after spraying silicon grease into the lock. I've had several base locks from different brands, quick combination, dial, this is my lock of choice. I own 3 of these. 2 for work 1 for the gym. No annoying buttons or memorizing the dial numbers you have will be perfect or you'll start over. Awesome, super easy to install and lock, super fast to change code. Although I have two other labeled reset locks (different brands), this one was difficult to turn and the word got mixed up during installation. The lock is locked and won't reset, but not on the word I chose. The phrase isn't the funniest, but who cares? All it does is ask your brain, which is barely working at 6am, to memorize a 4 letter word to avoid an awkward long stay in the gym locker room with naked old men. I know there are a lot of negative reviews but personally I haven't had any problems with this lock. True, I don't use it very regularly. but it seems to work fine when I use it. I like that it feels clunky and that changing the code wasn't much of an ordeal. It's pretty easy (especially if you've changed other number or word locks in the past).
