Do not work! on blank media

Most of them didn't work. Some did, but it doesn't really help me if some don't work. I will return to Memorex. I took these because they were cheaper. But not a good deal for me.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Can't remember

A must for older laptops

My older laptops don't use flash drives and I've been hooked on this brand for years. I have my own library of pictures, videos and music stored on it. .Best brand in my opinion.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Only available in black

Bad packaging for the brand.

Very poorly packaged You can't just put everything in a bag without packaging. The plastic housing was damaged from below. Luckily, the drives don't appear to be damaged. I have a few old cases to keep so I won't be returning them unless they work well.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Nothing here

Great for recording from old DVD's

My husband and I love our 10+ year old Magnavox combo DVD player and recorder. We have had difficulty finding suitable blank DVD+R discs commercially to record our shows and movies, the newer, more delicate discs are not accepted by our unit and show up as 'Disc Error'. If you have the same problem, these Maxell drives are the solution! Our machine immediately took the disc, recorded it and played it back without any problems. Very satisfied and will continue to order from Revain as long as the

The process is evidenced by multiple shaded/striped areas on or near the outer edge of the disc's recordable side, most of which are often formatted and recordable, while most discs have non-shaded/striped areas and are unformatted or prerecordedโ€ฆ

Working perfectly

How can you really describe how good a product is when you expect it to work well and it really does? Impossible! The drive either works well or it doesn't. (Although I suppose if you did the non-destructive testing in a lab, well, maybe. But I don't have a lab!) I've had great luck with Maxell products, starting with the old cassettes I used to buy. I still have them and they have irreplaceable recordings that are not on DVD. If cassettes hold up so well, then so will DVDs. I have no reason to

OK BUT POSSIBLE PROBLEMS ON SOME MACHINES

It's early days but not only am I not impressed yet, I've remembered why I prefer SONY in general! So far, out of SIX CDs, TWO are already terrible! ONE was a "bad drive" while the other mumbled erratically and pixelated at will! I've rarely had this problem with Sony or Verbatim, maybe with 1 or 2 discs out of 25, but never this early! I suspect my DVD player is partly to blame! I have an old SAMSUNG DVD player and it has always had trouble playing cheap or poor quality DVDs, including storeโ€ฆ
