Description of ๐Ÿ‰ MelonBoat Chair Leg Floor Protectors - 24 Pack, Round Leg 1''- 1-3/16'', Chair Leg Caps with Pads, Protect Floors, A-RD027

**CHECK SIZE BEFORE PURCHASE**: Fit ROUND chair leg diameter from 1'' to 1-3/16'' (2.5-3cm). The flexible silicone box is easy to slip on, giving chair leg a snug grip like a glove. Felt pads underneath allow chairs to glide silently and smoothly along floors (tile, hardwood, laminate and vinyl floor) without leaving marks. You will barely notice them with the transparent design. Fits many kinds of furniture feet: dinning room chair, bar stool, patio chair, kitchen chair, metal bistro chairs, etc.

Better option than felt sticky pads!

Have you ever tried sticky felt pads on chair backs? After a few weeks, they slide off, leaving a pile of sticky slime on the floor. You solve this problem! - Easy to put on (and remove when replacing) - Lasted about 1.5 years before I had to replace. Pretty reasonable in my opinion - Never slipped - Hair still sticks to the floor. There's nothing you can do about it except clean up. - CONS - Felts are NOT as thick as felt pads. Already bought a second set.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

They work! About Furniture Hardware

I have bought more types of chair leg pads than I can imagine. I have hardwood floors with chair scars. Some are sticky, stay on for a while, and leave a sticky mess when they fall off. Chair leg socks are ugly and a waste of money. "Furniture legs" worked best, but the clear plastic will tarnish and crack. So far, and they've been sitting in my chairs for months, they do their job, don't get hard or cloudy and are holding up very well.

Perfect for my vintage metal kitchen chairs.

These things are amazing! I have a mid-century kitchen table with metal legs - two on each chair at an angle. I used felt discs on the ends of the legs but over time they slipped off leaving sticky marks on the floor. I had no idea they existed until a few days ago. I searched to compare products and found them to be the most suitable for my needs. They went easily through the ends of the legs, they fitted snugly and I moved my chairs back and forth with ease. Does not stick and the caps do not

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

Took a few tries but found the right size. This is of great importance.

I ordered the first set on the tight side as recommended in the manufacturer's description but was barely able to fit my chairs even following the instructions and installation tips; I measured again to make sure I got the right size and promptly returned the first batch before destroying any product. Moved up a size, they're still snug, but not snug enough to make me feel like I'm putting castration bandages on the legs of a chair (former farm girl, don't ask). Time will tell if they hold upโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

By far the best solution. Sizing can be a little tricky.

With some hot water they certainly went very easily and stayed very well. I bought a set too small but found other places to use them. They're far less obtrusive than other protectors we've tried, both visually and functionally on items like TV cabinets. We originally bought them for our heavy chairs. Yes, they show signs of wear. But we use these stools several times a day. They stay. They protect our soil. They wear out and wear out. We will most likely buy more to replace them.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Expensive

Exactly as advertised.

Arrived on time. This was a repeat order because the first set I bought was a bit small, although I thought I measured carefully. They fit perfectly and install on all six kitchen chairs in minutes. My chairs are now almost silent when pulled from the table, my downstairs neighbor must be very happy when I have a few guests for a game night. Optically they are almost invisible; noticeable only after I pointed it out. My only regret is that I did not find this product when I bought kitchenโ€ฆ

The tests are running, but so far so good.

These chair leg pads fit well and fit snugly on the wooden chair legs I own. However, the actual tread pad (the part that actually touches the ground and is the wear layer of the tread) is very thin and looks like it will wear out quickly. For that matter, I was disappointed with the product when it arrived in the mail. But there are guards on the kitchen (tile) and dining room chairs (wood) so we'll see how they work and I'll update this review accordingly. So far, a few weeks afterโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Great product and great value

I put foot protection pads on my 6 wooden chairs to keep the wood from creaking on the floor. However, to potentially extend the life of the product, I first glued floor protection sheets to the bottom of the legs. The problem with them is that they keep falling. However, putting them on first made the chair legs soft on the bottom, and then I put on the Melonboat leg guards. Now the wooden leg of the chair will not damage the leg guards because they are soft on the bottom and the wood of theโ€ฆ
