Great hiking socks for kids

We thought it would be too hot for the summer, but it's enough for a few hours of hiking. There were no complaints from my son.

Pros
  • Warm socks as we had hoped.
Cons
  • May not be strong enough for rough play.

Good value for money, my pros and cons

This winter, my baby's feet will be warm. These are exactly what I was hoping for, but they are a lot cheaper than other (partially) wool socks. Soft, well made and approved for children!

Pros
  • Provides extra protection for children's feet from hard surfaces.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children who prefer socks.

Excellent price paid!

My two year old son got cold feet every time we went outside even though his winter boots are supposed to be nice and warm. After searching, I decided to order them for him. They're nice and thick (especially compared to well-known brands) and the price is right. His feet were warm after spending more than an hour outside in sub-zero temperatures for two consecutive days. The only mediocrity is that I ordered a size up and I'll be lucky if they fit him before the end of winter.

Pros
  • My 6 year old loves these socks. She loves how "comfy" they are!
Cons
  • Cannot be machine washed.

It's best to hold on to my rating

These thermal socks fit my daughter well and stay in place. Keeps feet warm and comfortable. Very nice for the price These socks fit my grandson perfect. Nice and thick to help keep his feet warm outside in the winter..

Pros
  • These socks fit my grandson perfectly. Nice and thick to keep feet warm outside in winter.
Cons
  • My kid is not picky but these were too gross and prickly.

Knowing they are small, 5 stars

Based on the reviews I figured out the size and bought the Small for my 3T daughter who has a size 8 shoe with a foot measurement of just under 6 inches. They fit her EXACTLY so I will wash them in cold water and hang to dry. Consider going 2x to M next time if they become favorites and miss them in the cart, but they probably only work for winter/rain boots and for lounging (thick padding). Her 8.5 Vans and 7.5 Reima High Tops (both) have leeway, so S now works well with what she calls her…

Pros
  • Excellent stuff. My daughter loves how warm they are.
Cons
  • Wool fibers can irritate sensitive skin.

Huge hole in ankle after just one wear

They are very soft and my baby loves them. However, after wearing the pair once, there was a hole in the ankle. This is really low quality. Unfortunately we no longer have the packaging so I don't think I can send it back.

Pros
  • Made from high quality materials that will not sting and will not cause discomfort to children.
Cons
  • Maybe not enough for the price.

Shrinks to baby size after one wash.

I have noticed that all Merivul children's socks are quite small, but after one wash, which was carried out according to the instructions, they have shrunk to baby size. It's very frustrating that those socks, which we hoped to at least make it through this winter in, didn't bring any use. Also frustrating is the lack of money spent on socks for both children. I'm not sure everyone will have the same experience, but be warned that mine shrunk a lot after a wash/dry cycle. Mega crap.

Pros
  • Thick and comfortable for my 2.5 year old daughter, keeps her toes warm and dry. The price is great for three pairs!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children who prefer thicker socks.

Socks are thick but cool!

great socks! I bought them for my two boys for the winter. They don't like walking on the trampoline with shoes on. but it's too cold to go barefoot so use these socks and keep them warm. The only downside is that they are quite thick so they cannot be worn with shoes. You can in rubber boots, where there is a little more space. so it stinks a bit. otherwise great quality and delighted at how warm they keep my kids warm while playing outside in the cold :)

Pros
  • Natural insulating properties make them an excellent choice for children who are sensitive to synthetic materials.
Cons
  • Cannot be machine dried.

Uber is fat! in my rating

Really thick and roasted warm wool! I use them as night socks in the cold for my little toddler who is shedding all her blankets. That's exactly what I wanted! If you want to use them for indoor shoes, they are so thick that the shoes may be too big for your feet to fit well.

Pros
  • Keep your feet warm.
Cons
  • Good socks. You're just a little on the small side.

Great for the value!

I absolutely love these socks! They are super cozy and warm and fit perfectly! I bought the child size as I have size 5 adult shoes. Don't tumble dry, just hang dry.

Pros
  • Durable and will withstand repeated use and washing.
Cons
  • Can cause static electricity.

Very thick, good quality socks.

These are very thick socks ideal for winter or rain boots. They are not suitable for hiking boots unless there is room for growth or a size too big. My 3-1/2 years. The eldest son complains that the tubular part of the sock is too tight on his calves, but I hope they stretch a little when wearing them. The socks definitely keep his feet warm which is what I was looking for. Outstanding quality and design.

Pros
  • Provides excellent grip and prevents slips and falls on uneven surfaces.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children who prefer colorful socks.

Love her but remember...

We love these socks! I bought them in different colors for each of my children to distinguish between sizes. My oldest girl is a size 1-2 and runs large... IMPORTANT: The third photo shows large children on MY foot. I am a woman 7.5. The women's size of this brand is a bit big for my foot and I would recommend the large child size for women with smaller feet. Or deliberately reduce the female size. Medium and large are almost the same, with just a small additional concession in the large. The…

Pros
  • Merino wool is a sustainable choice that makes the product sustainable and responsible.
Cons
  • May not be available in all colors and sizes for boys and girls.

I love these socks! to my rating.

Quality socks, soft, warm son's legs. However, I would recommend a review. I bought the small one for my son who wears size 11 shoes and it looks a bit small. I think he will outgrow them very quickly. In the end we left them anyway. Will buy again.

Pros
  • Elastic properties ensure a tight fit and prevent slipping.
Cons
  • Won't stand up to multiple washes.

Strange smell pleasant to me

While my son loves them they have an odd smell that happened upon arrival. I'm not sure if we can do it. The smell is very strong and not pleasant.

Pros
  • Good and warm
Cons
  • May require special storage care.

Perfect for keeping little fingers warm!

I bought wool socks for all the grandkids this year because they are winter activities and just walk around the house in winter trying to keep their feet warm and healthy. My 3 year old granddaughter (who is very picky) loved them, especially the pink and lavender color. She wears them all the time!

Pros
  • So thick and cozy! The quality reminds me of Smart Wool.
Cons
  • Possibly not suitable for everyday use.

Perfect Fit is the best in my rating

These fit perfectly! I wouldn't expect my 4 year old to be medium but the sizing chart is correct. He wears children's shoes in sizes 11-12, so I took medium-sized socks. It seems they are warm in winter to play outside. Definitely too thick for normal boots, but fit into his winter boots.

Pros
  • Made from high quality merino wool, soft and comfortable for baby feet.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children with wide feet.

Works VERY little. in my opinion

I ordered a size up to ensure a more comfortable fit and even that was two sizes down. There is a lot of thread inside so be careful with little kids and toes.

Pros
  • Comes in a pack of 3 pairs offering parents great value for money.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children with foot or ankle injuries.

Thicker than expected, no bubbles, runs slightly smaller.

Bought for my 2 year old daughter who wears a size 8. I ordered the smaller garments in sizes 9-11.5 to give her room to grow and they fit her well! So I don't see her wearing them before I have to buy them back. Good quality. I wish they were a little softer. You are fat! Good for the winter. I bought them for summer hikes and next time I will take thinner ones. Much thicker than expected. Keep in mind that your children's shoes that are too tight may not fit well. They are difficult to put…

Great sock!

What a great sock! It is very thick with an inner layer that looks like puffy wool in a fabric while the outer layer is well made. I was a bit skeptical about these socks because I didn't know the label, but I would buy them again anytime. I like to think of myself as picky and cheap and this is an absolute steal in terms of quality! The only ones that are better are bombs when they are available for kids. I took off my daughter's boots and her feet were soaked with sweat, I could see the sock…

Pros
  • Camping
Cons
  • Only available in black

Wrong size and not compatible

I'm not sure how many stars to give this product. Warm? A lot of reviewers say it makes sense because it's wool and thick as hell, BUT my kids' feet get cold after four hours of preschool outdoors. comfort? He doesn't complain that it's uncomfortable, so I guess it is. I'm fine. Thickness? You bet it's thick as hell. Thicker than my REI travel socks. My son is a size 10 and wears a size 11 in these Bogs socks for a very good fit. The sizes of these socks are very inconsistent. I bought a pair…
