It's not your father's Merrell!

Bottom line, they are too tight and now I have an unwearable pair of shoes. I've had these 10D loafers for 10 years and they were great - before this pair. After shipping took an exceptionally long time, I tried them on and... "I don't remember them being that tight - they might stretch." They didn't. Also, the heel-to-toe feel isn't the same as previous pairs, leading to fatigue after hours of standing/working. I've never had this problem. I've since tried them on at local stores and found I'm

Pros
  • Fits well, very comfortable
Cons
  • Not waterproof, can get wet

my favorite shoes Comfortable. Daily. Ideal.

I'm buying a 2nd pair. That should tell you everything. These are great shoes. I've worn them so many times that I've worn out my first pair until the floor was completely smooth and bought a new pair so I wouldn't part with them.

Pros
  • My husband uses them as slippers and loves them.
Cons
  • The size is not US size, suggest you adjust accordingly, I returned the goods

MY EVERYDAY SHOES FOR MORE THAN 6 YEARS.

This is my 6th pair. They run small for me, so I order 1/2 size larger. The grip is good, not too hard. After that, for me, these are the best shoes for work and walking.

Pros
  • Easy to put on and take off, great everyday shoe.
Cons
  • May be too wide for some foot shapes.

Disappointing shoes in my review

I am disappointed with these shoes, the length is shorter than described and the width is too big, their design is also uncomfortable for the foot, it has an awkward angle for my foot

Pros
  • I like the shoes very much
Cons
  • Can wear out easily with regular use

Beautiful out of the box

I wish the heel was a little narrower, but the shoes are very easy to put on and take off. Very comfortable shoe, lots of room in the toe box and I actually have a 3E wide foot. Some people complain that the sole is too hard and stiff, but I think it's better for them than being too brittle and soft. They offer good sole protection and don't sacrifice much comfort. For me they're pretty handy and I like to be able to easily turn them on and off around the house which is why I bought them.

Pros
  • Good grip and comfortable. Pretty comfortable until they wear out. Nice light shoe that wears great.
Cons
  • Can cause leg pain over time

The most comfortable shoes

Because of the high instep and wide feet, I usually can't wear slip-ons. I bought these because the Merrill wide hiking shoes fit well and I'm so glad I did. These are the best shoes I have ever owned in terms of initial comfort. Let's see how they hold up to walking 5-6 miles a day.

Pros
  • Everything about this product is great
Cons
  • May be too hard for people with sensitive feet.

The fit and durability made our decision

My husband wears them every day, he loves the comfort and fit. They are saved and remain the same as on day one. Great shoes, he has 2 pairs, one for work and one to wear.

Pros
  • The shoes fit and are comfortable.
Cons
  • May be too heavy for some people

Terribly uncomfortable/painful

After several purchases of Merrell shoes, returning all but one pair, I am definitely done with this company. I found out from a previous Jungle Moc attempt that the shoe sizing was wrong, so I ordered 1 full size smaller than my actual size. It worked and the shoes fit well. However, after walking a short distance, I felt a hard object under the material of the shoe rubbing against my ankle. It was uncomfortable and ultimately painful. Walking in these shoes is uncomfortable and most likely…

Pros
  • Shoes are great as expected
Cons
  • Lack of variety of styles.

Perfect fit for me

I have large wide hobbit feet and the 10th wide is the best fitting shoe I have ever worn. Fits perfectly! I will definitely order again.

Pros
  • Super comfortable all day and will outlive normal lace up shoes.
Cons
  • Not suitable for long walks

The most comfortable shoes I've ever had

These shoes are so comfortable. I'm on my feet all day at work and they work great. I take size 10-10.5. I've bought a lot lately. Got them in 10.5 wide and they fit perfectly. This is the second pair I have received this month. I bought them in black and I liked them so much I decided to get another pair in brown.

Pros
  • Looks and fits
Cons
  • Can wear out quickly on rough surfaces

Great all round shoe

The leg opening can be a bit narrow at first for large feet (13W). All in all, these are great shoes. I've had them for about 14 years and still buy them, which should speak for themselves.

Pros
  • The comfort of the shoe is excellent
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with foot injuries

They are very strong and durable

Love the fact its a solid well made shoe, 7 years old and my 3rd pair, only problem is they are comparing me to another pair, need to find something else that compares.

Pros
  • Great fit, this is my 8th pair.
Cons
  • Lack of stability can lead to tripping

Great as a travel shoe

These shoes are perfect for travel. I like to pack light stuff, so I needed a multifunctional shoe that I can wear in the pool, on the beach, and while walking around the island towns, on both rocky trails and paved roads. I also had to dress up for a few dinners and they looked great with chinos and a blazer. They might not be the most exciting of shoes, but they are perfect for everything I just mentioned!

Pros
  • This is my fourth pair and I love everything about them.
Cons
  • May be too difficult to put on for certain foot shapes.

Good shoes my pros and cons

I've been wearing Murrells for a while now. I have peripheral neuropathy. Especially in my legs. I wear these and other Merrell shoes to combat the effects. There are better shoes out there alongside other Merrell shoes.

Pros
  • Super comfortable and light.
Cons
  • May cause leg fatigue

Hurt ankle?: my review

You look pretty good. After wearing them for a few days I developed severe ankle pain that I had never felt before and now wear a splint. Does anyone else have this problem?

Pros
  • Too bad the seller was so terrible but the item was excellent
Cons
  • not stylish

Easy to put on. Continuous. You can use more cushioning.

I wear them mostly when gardening/housework. Easy to put on, easy to take off. No need to bend down to take off dirty/dirty shoes. The downside is that they need a better insole as the sole doesn't have very good cushioning so my feet get tired when walking on hard surfaces. If worn regularly, they will last for several years. which is very good. I also have a pair for travel - easy to remove for safety and they look halfway decent.

Pros
  • Excellent decent seller, good shoes, had to return size 9.5 for 10 but otherwise no problems. Buy with confidence, A++
Cons
  • Had to go back as they didn't feel comfortable walking.

How did Merrell ruin these shows? Why?

This shoe is poorly designed for easy entry. I've had a couple of these shows every year for almost 30 years. I loved these shoes. Easy to put on, easy to take off, comfortable and versatile. But for some reason the 1990s design needs to be changed in 2022. These shoes are SHIT. They are difficult to reach. They made some stupid changes. I still have my old pair and they are much easier to put on. I don't know why they changed the design but it ruined these shoes.

Pros
  • Good durable shoe for everyday wear. Easy to put on. Good for outdoors and indoors.
Cons
  • Difficult to clean

My new favorite shoes

I love these shoes! Comfortable indoors and durable enough for regular outdoor use. Warm and dry. I've worn them almost everywhere.

Pros
  • This shoe does exactly what I wanted and fits as expected.
Cons
  • Not suitable for exercises with heavy weights

Comfortable but avoid nubuck leather

Advantages: Very comfortable, light, suitable for everyday use (except for the suede look; see below). Cons: Not very reliable grip on smooth, wet surfaces. The nubuck leather looks pretty dirty and I haven't found a way to really keep it clean and the diamond soles attract dirt. The pants have a dark stripe on the suede where it meets the upper of the shoe. I would only buy again in smooth leather.

Pros
  • My second pair of these boots. Very comfortable and durable
Cons
  • May be too tight for some foot shapes.

Perfection..!!! in my opinion

I am 67 years old and had more shoes and boots than Imelda Marcos. I got my first pair of Merrell Moab 2s about 6 months ago and fell in love with them. 9W has never felt so good. Now with the Moab 2, Moab 2 Waterproof, Moab 2 Mid Waterproof, Moab 3 Mid Waterproof and an extra Moab 2 in the box (I go for a walk every day), I craved a coverall to wake up and sleep in to move house. I couldn't find my normal one. Enter the Merrell Jungle Moc, thank goodness! The best fit of any shoe I've ever…

Pros
  • Go to shoes to go for business. Comfortable and easy to put on
Cons
  • Lack of arch support
