Good shoes my rating

I've been buying the Merrell Moab series for a few years now and really like them, but didn't like what was currently available so I decided to try the Jungle Moc. They're very comfortable and a little lighter than the Moab, but they're good casual shoes. They tend to be a bit short and narrow. Normally I would buy a 10.5 width but I would have to increase it to an average 11 width to be comfortable. The shoes are a bit loose but I like them and they are very easy to put on and take off.

Pros
  • Bought these and they run about half a size bigger
Cons
  • Wear-prone shoes

No pillow, pile needs to be combed

Shoes have no padding, just flat on the inside. The lint on it will make it look like shoe stains if not cleaned properly. It looks classy. Fits true to size.

Pros
  • I wish you had better latitude information, like D OR EEE instead of "broad".
Cons
  • Shoes are too heavy to break in

great shoes in my opinion

Merell shoes are my favorite shoes. I have worn a variety of shoes but none come close to the comfort and durability of Merells shoes. It was also great value for money.

Pros
  • Good product as described, fast delivery, well packaged, a pleasure to buy with confidence, A++
Cons
  • The shoes are not suitable for people with foot problems.

My husband wears them until they run out.

He wore this model and brand of sneakers throughout the fall, winter and early spring. He even carries an old pair when mowing the lawn. He only doesn't wear them if they aren't appropriate for the occasion (cycling, motorcycling, clearing snow, etc.).

Pros
  • Very high quality and very comfortable
Cons
  • Shoes are not light and can cause fatigue

good quality, durable

These are well made shoes, comfortable yet well supportive for work and walking. These aren't the "Big Five" loafers that break down quickly after heavy use. They also hold up well as work shoes. I'm impressed with their ability to withstand water in the rain, truck washes and morning walks on wet grass. You get wet but my feet stay dry. After a year and a half of intensive use, it is still in perfect condition. Just ordered and received another pair to go out with my lovely wife.

Pros
  • thumbs up
Cons
  • Shoe material is too thin

Ideal for post hip replacement

I specifically bought these shoes that I used to have so I could wear them comfortably while recovering from hip surgery. Since I can walk on them without bending over, they are perfect!

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Shoes don't provide enough ankle support.

Large order: my evaluation

Good shoes, I had high hopes for them but had to send them back because 11.5 which I usually wear looked like I was in heels. I tried ordering a width of 11.5 or 12 but the price of the shoe almost doubled when I went up the size. They may have had trouble selling the 11.5, which brought them to $35, for the reasons just mentioned. I just wanted something comfortable to lounge in, but the feel of this 11.5 e felt really tough and trendy. I still want some Merrells and at least now I know what…

Pros
  • G2G
Cons
  • The shoe size is too small, causing discomfort and blistering.

Not bad, not great. - my new rating

They appear to be solid shoes with good support but they are very stiff, the tongue digs quite a bit into my ankle, this may change after wearing although I've only used them one day so far.

Pros
  • good old reserves
Cons
  • Shoes require too much care

Above and beyond expectations

I've been wearing them daily for commuting between work/home and public transport for a few months now. Yesterday we had a sudden snow storm in our area that stopped everything so I unexpectedly had to walk 4 miles home in the snow. These aren't the shoes I would choose for it, but they were amazing. They kept my feet warm, dry and comfortable in strenuous conditions, even better than most other shoes I've worn specifically for this type of activity. This is my first Merrell's and I will…

Pros
  • These shoes fit well as expected. The quality is very good. Will definitely buy again.
Cons
  • Shoes are not stain resistant and get dirty easily

Greatness far in my mind

I agree with most of the reviews - good quality and nice looks. Unfortunately the size I received, marked US 11, was at least a full size smaller. I will return it and try again - although my preferred size is 11 I will try 12 and hope it fits.

Pros
  • These shoes fit well and hardly shrink.
Cons
  • Not very comfortable, seems round instead of flat

Great slip ons for running

My job requires me to take my shoes off a lot, so slip-ons work great. But all the other slip-ons I've had in the past have not been good for running more than a block or two. The sole was wrong. These are completely different, they have a great sole to walk on. I probably wouldn't go more than three miles in it, but that's because the slip-ons don't give you the same solid control in the upper of the shoe, but they do a very good job—they fit pretty snugly in the top, but don't too tight. I…

Pros
  • Strong in light without slipping when walking especially on the road in the forest, insects can get on the ankles
Cons
  • Shoes are not universal and can only be used in specific cases.

Good shoes and true to size.

Good boot. My only grip and reason for four stars is arch support; I added an aftermarket insole. Merrell needs to up their game with a real insole.

Pros
  • I really liked the product!!
Cons
  • The shoes are not designed for walking long distances.

Great shoe if you don't mind the squeak with every step.

The husband received these shoes and is stubbornly trying to return them. He says they're comfortable, but it annoys me so much because they squeak with every step. He's embarrassed, but he's not the type to complain. I'll kill him if he keeps wearing them when we go out. Please take this into account when ordering, you will never sneak up on anyone again.

Pros
  • Matches the truth.
Cons
  • The shoes don't have a good guarantee

Well built but squeaks

These shoes fit my feet well and seem to last a while, but after three weeks they squeak with every step. I was also expecting good traction from the way they made the soles, but as soon as I hit a wet spot on the ground my feet almost flew in front of me. I don't think I will buy these again.

Pros
  • very good
Cons
  • Shoes are not fashionable

Well, what can I say? Timeless comfortable everyday classic

I've had several pairs of Jungle Mocs over the years and they never disappoint! I just bought these for my husband and he loves them too. He has a wide foot and regular width works for this brand. Very supportive and quite durable!

Pros
  • really like the shoes
Cons
  • The shoes do not have a good arch design

Husband on the third pair!

My husband lives in these shoes! These have been his favorites since he bought his first pair a few years ago. They're durable and hold up well, and most importantly, they're comfortable on his fidgety feet. Thumbs up!

Pros
  • I liked it so much that I bought a few more pairs.
Cons
  • I've bought these shoes many times but they didn't fit as well as my other pairs.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

In my opinion too small

I ordered the same size I currently wear in a pair of Merrell Jungle Mocs but the ones I received were about a half size smaller. I wonder if this is due to a different production source?

Pros
  • I am so impressed with Merell shoes that I have bought 3 pairs in the last month. Great quality, great fit and great value for money.
Cons
  • The shoes are too narrow for wider feet.

Two years later I liked them so much I ordered a second pair

Updated review after ordering a second pair 23 months after purchasing the first pair:============ == == =========================================: I have a second one ordered pair and just started wearing them. The new couple is looking good so far. However, I made the mistake of ordering Gunsmoke Gray instead of the color of my first Dark Earth pair. I HATE the Gunsmoke Gray color which is so different from the website that I hate it. I had trouble swapping them out. I don't really want to…

Pros
  • Imported
Cons
  • Not the best

Not the Jungle Moc you know and love.

I've had this particular shoe for about 15 years, this is the fifth pair I've ordered from Revain. This is the second pair I've bought from Revain and will be the last pair of Merrell Men's Jungle Moc Nubuck Slip-Ons I'll buy. I ordered the same shoes, that is, the same style, size and color as I bought. by Revain in 2014, but I was surprised to find that the shoe and fit are very different between old and new. The new pair is much smaller and much denser. I thought the poor fit might be due to

Pros

Merrell changed these shoes, but not for the better.

First of all, I've had this shoe since 2002. I buy at least one pair a year. It seems that over the last year the country where they are made has changed. With this change, these shoes are terribly uncomfortable. I bought 2 pairs at a time last fall to wear every other day. A brown pair and a black pair. I wore them every other day for a while and found that my legs hurt and felt tight on the days I wore the black pair. I once wore a brown pair with no problems. Well, I realized I had old…
