The key broke after 5 weeks and cannot be replaced!

Update: 5 weeks after purchase, that is a week after the return window closed and the USB stick died! I cannot order a replacement as the buttons are specific to the keyboard and mouse they come with. ORIGINAL Review: I bought this keyboard for the second time. I like the feel of the keys, they are responsive and quiet. The compact size and separate numeric keypad make it very easy for right-handed people to reach the mouse, increasing the amount of time I can work without shoulder, neck, and…

this is a good choice - but it will age a lot

After a year+ of use this is a good choice from an ergonomic point of view - but it will age badly. I prefer the old MS Split keyboard, which was a little more slanted, and as for the mouse, I preferred the other model, which was more sideways (the "vertical" mouse). But the beautiful looks and smaller keyboard area made me buy this combo for both office and home use. However, after a year of use, the "rubber" holding the palm becomes "white" due to use. The rubber parts of the mouse have…

poor equipment, good ergonomics

I like ergonomics, but that's about it. I had to go through 2 of these in 3 years. The problems I encountered are the following: 1) On the first one, the key that connects the device to the computer stopped working. I had to constantly adjust the keyboard to connect. but then again after 5-10 minutes he lost contact. I got tired and decided to buy another one 2) The second block keyboard stopped working. Discard doubts, changed batteries but to no avail. I now have 2 of these devices next to my

Good keyboard but unreliable due to irresponsible design. NOT RECOMMENDED

I've been using the keyboard for about 2 years now, it replaced an old white Microsoft Natural (wired) keyboard. I don't use the mouse much as I have the Evoluent mouse which I prefer (easier to use if you have RSI). As for the keyboard. I love it. Just a minor annoyance. There's no visual indicator to let you know if Caps Lock has been pressed or not. It's especially annoying when you enter a password that doesn't appear on the screen. I can also recommend this keyboard and would buy it again.

Here are my thoughts after 6 years of use

I'm a software developer. I've had this keyboard and mouse since July 2014. And I've had numerous jobs that provide a keyboard and mouse, including with a company that gave me a $220+ Logitech Ergo + MX vertical mouse combo asked, which I spent a month on. to get used to something; Their philosophy is that the longer you can keep a developer's hands on the keyboard, the better. And a month later I was still bringing this sculpt combo from home. Let me tell you why. This keyboard is very…

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I was very happy about this product and was immediately disappointed. I have used Microsoft ergonomic keyboards in the past and have used a Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse for many years. For some reason this keyboard skips keystrokes. Mine was particularly awful with "N". The backspace key was also "slow" if you pressed it 5 times, 4 were instant and the 5th keypress finally happened. I am an IT network engineer and know my way around PCs. I unplugged everything I could from my USB ports to…

Terrible Keyboard - Computers and Accessories

I've always loved Microsoft's ergonomic keyboard and mouse sets, but this one is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. If you are an experienced typist, DO NOT BUY THIS because: 1. Your fingertips don't find the keys easily, leading to frustration with having to constantly reposition your fingers. Only to make another mistake and repeat the process. I used it for 3 days and still couldn't get used to it.2. They separated the keyboard into a separate device, which seemed like a really good idea. Until you use…

If the USB receiver breaks - and it will - you're 100% screwed.

Dear Microsoft, In the last two years I have looked through 4 of your Sculpt keyboards. The keyboard itself is amazing - great layout, nice key spring. It's even light enough to carry to the office. I'm a writer and editor so the number pad is a blessing. Combine the Sculpt with a laptop stand and I have the ultimate in ergonomics, allowing me to work for over 8 hours without wrist and neck pain. I used to praise Sculpt to everyone I knew, but now I just shake my head. Why? Your keyboard is…
