Not Great - Keyboards, Mice and Accessories

I ordered this to pair with my Microsoft Surface Pro. I was impressed by the sleek style, color, and magnetic battery door. Aside from "style", usability is another matter. Let's start with the scroll wheel. The wheel is quite small, with tiny prongs on its surface that feel like you're rubbing your fingertip with it. Also, it has some resistance to wheel spin. After a short use my finger tingled and it felt like running it over a file. Not pleasant at all. The closest "buttons" may be my…

Pros
  • Great for me

Looks good and is comfortable to use

Fit and finish on par with the Apple Magic Mouse 2, maybe even a cut above. It doesn't have an aluminum base, but the plastic is covered in a matte, matte finish that makes it almost the same as the Alcantara material they use for the Surface keyboards. The metal scroll wheel literally looks like the crown of a luxury watch. Like smooth, heavy, well-crafted metal. If you're like me, you'll find yourself scrolling up and down even if you don't have to. I also like the aesthetics of this mouse…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

I like the size of this mouse but I'm 0 out of 3

I really like the size of this mouse, it's a bit big and fits in my palm very well. I would give 5 stars if it worked right away. At first I had some problems with the bluetooth connection. I've restarted my computer many times, tried changing settings and I'm not entirely sure what caused it to work. I rebooted a couple of times and it didn't work, then I gave up on trying to get it back and the next day it suddenly worked. Now it works perfectly, it is very responsive, it wakes up my computer

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • So far so good

Expects much, much more than that. It looks like a toy.

After falling in love with the Surface Keyboard, I expected the mouse to be just as impressive. Instead, I have a piece of plastic that shifts in my hand when I use excessive pressure to press very noisy, uncomfortable buttons that feel like hollow plastic. In fact, the mouse itself is so light that I believe the feather can fly off into the sunset instead of weighing the feather down. The only positive thing about this mouse is that the wheel feels very solid! I have to give her credit for…

Surface Mouse OR Sculpt Mouse?

I spend a lot of time with a mouse, whether it's on my desktop, laptop or now (hooray) my Surface tablet. Touch screens and scrollbars are fine for everyday use, but nothing beats a mouse when it comes to productivity, whether it's spreadsheets, long lists, or editing graphs. I use computer mice at an incredible rate, they rarely last more than 6 months. I used to be married to Logitech mice because of how they feel in my hand, but I got to the point where I was dissatisfied with their build…

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • So-so
