this is a great seat for traveling!

My family took a super long trip this summer, via cars and planes. Went through rental cars, Lyft, shuttles, our own car, my sister’s car. We took this car seat everywhere and it’s so so simple to use. I love how tiny it is, and it keeps our five year old safe! So happy to have found this. It’s a great option as a back-up or for travel. The annoying part for my son is there’s no lift, so he can’t see what’s happening outside the car. And he has too much trouble trying to slide one side of the…

Pros
  • Easy to install with a three-point belt, can be done in seconds
Cons
  • The Mifold Comfort Grab-And-Go Car Booster Seat may not fold down for easy storage

A Must for Travel for my opinion

We planned a trip to Chicago but didn’t know what to do about our 6 yo’s booster. Real pain to lug in and out of cabs/Ubers (and what to do with it in shops/museums) but we didn’t feel comfortable going without. This was a perfect solution! Takes a minute to install, but is small enough to throw in a backpack/tote and light weight. Great purchase!

Pros
  • Can fit in small spaces, perfect for small vehicles or households
Cons
  • The Ocean Blue color option may not fit in with other car accessories

Great to have on hand.

We like it. It’s obviously not as substantial as a real kids’ seat and doesn’t feel as protective, but we you like knowing we can always use it in a pinch, when extra kids show up or there’s not room for the big car seat (that she’s about to outgrow anyway). If you your child is large enough to use this, you won’t regret owning it. We take it on trips where it would be impractical to travel with a larger seat. And we’ve even thrown it in the backpack when taking the subway to the museum…

Pros
  • Can be folded and stored in a backpack, offers convenience
Cons
  • The Mifold Comfort Grab-And-Go Car Booster Seat may not be as breathable as traditional car seats

Great product: my feedback

I love the ideal of this product and for the most part I love the product. It takes up way less Space and is easy to travel with. Most importantly it still provides your child with security. I feel that my kids have been more secure in this than in a regular booster seat. My one complaint is that while it is easy to install once you get the hang of it, it’s more difficult for the children. In the older booster seats my boys were able to get in the car and get buckled and I did a quick check…

Pros
  • Provides an alternative option to traditional booster seats
Cons
  • The Mifold Comfort Grab-And-Go Car Booster Seat may not be as easy to use as other portable booster seats

Comfort and Safety is eeeeehhhh

I honestly wish that this was a little more sturdy, but how do you do that? It is FABULOUS for traveling. We took it to hawaii as a maiden voyage and it was fantastic. However, I do question the safety aspect of this for a small child and what this really does in terms of safety. My kiddo does say that it is not comfortable and that she wants something with more padding, but honestly, for the ease -- this is a pretty awesome option. Especially, if you live in an area that would require a taxi…

So awesome! - my new review

I just love this thing so much! It takes up WAY less space than a traditional booster seat and works awesome. I am now able to put my oldest child in between an infant and regular car seat in the back of our Jetta and he fits! You just have to be sure your child is able (more like willing) to stay put on the seat since it is easier to move around than a traditional bulky booster. It fits perfect in my diaper bag, so when we are traveling with friends or family it's easy to take a long.I HIGHLY…

Great spare seat best in my review

I saw the designer give a presentation for this seat at a Child Passenger Safety Conference and decided to give it a try. I bought one as a test seat for our 2 children who still need seatbelt adjustment. Our intention was to buy another if it worked for both kids as we have a smaller back seat and the space saving design was a huge bonus for us and their older brother who has been cramped by several booster seat trials. We have 2 very different sized children: a wirey boy, age 10, 4'4", 65…

So easy for travel: my feedback

I was skeptical that these would be a suitable replacement for a booster seat, but they work great. This was such a relief - we travel by air with our kids a lot and have always had terrible experiences trying to rent car or booster seats from rental car companies. This solved two problem - first, it reduced the amount of luggage we needed to

Pros
  • Thicker cushion provides added comfort for children
Cons

It slides… but I fixed it?

I really really wanted this to work for my child. We will be traveling out of state, and I wanted to do a rerun so I don’t embarrass myself when I do it for the first time lol. I was driving and I here my child say "woah!” So I looked over and saw the whole car seat on his back. I knew he was sitting properly because I keep checking him out since it’s a new car seat, but it just slid.Long story short. It does slide, but I have a spare kitchen liner at home and I used that to stop it from…

Nice but use an upgrade

Holds the seat belt where it’s should but my daughter complains about it sliding a little bit under her. It is very convenient and easy to store when not it use. Would be nice if the outside was covered in a material that was a higher friction to prevent the sliding.

Pros
  • Offers flexibility, can be used for everyday use, carpooling, and travel
Cons
  • The Mifold Comfort Grab-And-Go Car Booster Seat may not provide enough support for a child's head

Wanted to love this

I was excited to have a booster we could travel with. My 8 yr old said it was too narrow and uncomfortable to sit on. We had a 45 min drive from the airport to hotel and complained most of the ride. Unfortunately I would not recommend this booster.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting, offers a great value option
Cons
  • The Mifold Comfort Grab-And-Go Car Booster Seat may not be as easy to clean as other portable booster seats

Worked perfectly on my review.

We were going on vacation and planned on only using Uber and not renting a car. We had no idea how we were going to drag a huge heavy car seat to Disneyland, the beach, etc. until I discovered this booster seat. It easily fits in a backpack and is quick to install and remove. Sometimes when I was in a hurry it felt a little difficult to unhook the seat belt from the hooks but really no big deal. It’s a safe alternative to a heavy duty car seat and I never worried my five year old wasn’t…

Pros

Cons
  • The Mifold Comfort Grab-And-Go Car Booster Seat may not be as easy to install in rental cars or taxis

Great for older kids for travel

These were great for our vacation. They were easy to install and once you got the hang of it they aren’t any more effort than a normal booster. My oldest did complain once that it was uncomfortable. I would say though that if your kids are slouchers these don’t do a great job of keeping your kids in a safe position so it’s better for older kids who are going to stay sitting up straight and not wiggle around too much.

Pros
  • Easy to travel with, easy to install, great little travel hack. Xoxox
Cons
  • The Mifold Comfort Grab-And-Go Car Booster Seat may not fit in every car

a "Booster seat "?! Nahhhh.

My issue with this product has more to do with the product description than the product itself. The idea of it is awesome, however the reality of it not so much. When I got it in hand, i found it difficult to imagine how this was AS effective as the traditional booster seat we have. Turns out after some research it is not. Maybe by the industry definition of a BOOSTER SEAT this product can be labelled as one, however in reality, it is actually a SEAT BELT EXTENDER. The difference is that a true…

Pros
  • Can be used with or without the lap belt guide
Cons
  • The Mifold Comfort Grab-And-Go Car Booster Seat may not fit under certain seat belts

Slides, not very secure

It was nice that is was so compact for traveling, we used this for our rental car on vacation. However, I did not feel my daughter was safe in it and road next to her the whole trip to make sure the seat belt stayed in the correct place. Maybe for a 6 y/o this would be ok, but for a large 4y/o it was not.

Pros
  • Baby Products
Cons
  • The Mifold Comfort Grab-And-Go Car Booster Seat may not provide enough support for larger children

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not as easy to use as advertised.

I have a hard time getting my 6 yr old to use a booster because his brother's are old enough not to be in one. It is an easy install but I was under the impression by the videos I watch that the belts just snap in to a locking unit. So to me that looks great. But the this model you have to buckle the seat belt then slide the belt into the bracket. It is very secure, but not as easy as a conventional booster. So we use this went we have friends or family that need a extra booster on the go.

So portable! Fits in a backpack with room to spare

Love love love! No more hauling boosters through airports, renting boosters, or squishing multiple boosters in the backseat. These fit great in your backpack through airports (or your kiddo’s school backpack for after school carpools to soccer). Kiddo sat a little lower than she was used to at first, but acclimated quickly. I’ve recommended to all my mom pals!

Great for travel - my new review

If you're looking for a booster seat you can pack in a carry-on and use in the rental car for a quick drive from the airport this is great. It's very compact but works to adjust the belts to the correct position for little kids who still need a booster. It's tough for them to buckle themselves because of the way the lap belt adjusters work so just be prepared for that. If you're looking for something where your kid can sit in this for hours on a long trip, or for everyday use, this isn't it…

Pros
  • Great for families with multiple children, saves space in the car
Cons
  • The Mifold Comfort Grab-And-Go Car Booster Seat may not be as adjustable as traditional car seats

Putting the seat belt

We used it several times when we had to go with someone else in their car. When it came to install it, I thought it would be quick and easy to install, but in my opinion, the car seat was easier to transfer from one car to another, because it took 10 to 15 min trying to install this. Maybe will have the experience in time.We traveled to different parts of the US and used Ubers, and to add this in their car, was a bit challenging due to a time frame to leave to get to our destination. Everything

Pros
  • Offers protection to the child's hips and thighs, provides an added safety benefit
Cons
  • The Mifold Comfort Grab-And-Go Car Booster Seat may not have as much back support for long trips
