Absolutely essential. When you're spending over $400 on a hit but don't want to change money to protect it. Are you crazy. I threw the crap out of the cockpit and didn't have any breaks. It's still a very snug fit and hasn't had any issues.

Perfect match for my 2763-20 M18 Fuel 1/2" Impact Wrench. Definitely a must have if you want to add protection and longer life to your Milwaukee M18 shock only the shock with security case does not fit the MIlwaukee factory hard case as their hard cases only fit the tool itself and accessories snugly.

Like my Milwaukee Electric 2763-20 High Torque Impact (M18), this is another quality product from Milwaukee Electric. The impact wrench was a Christmas present from my wife a few Christmases ago. Luckily I took care not to damage it when using it. This boot will help keep my kick intact.

Very good, not like an old school USA made CP cap but heavy enough to do a decent job (um to protect the instrument). I use exposure around the house and in the garage, but I'm cursed with self-diagnosing OCD. After the kid dropped the $300 key multiple times (instead of putting it down). I think with that protective cover on the wrench (in my little OCD world) I'll be able to breathe a lot easier. bahha!

Bought to try on 2767-20 as they don't have one for it yet. If anyone cares, fine. not ideal as 2767 is not in the list of covered models. I've waited long enough for one to become available for my influence to fail. so i decided to try this one. You must protect your investments. Like I said. It doesn't fit perfectly, but it gets the job done and bleeds the engine where needed. With a few scratches on the tip of my M18 FUEL Impact's nose, I'm glad I found this boot, albeit late than never. I was still looking but couldn't find this boot when I bought the Impact gear. It was easy to place on the Impact and doesn't interfere with the controls or vents, but as another customer noted, you can't close the case when the case is installed. In an open case, however, it will fit snugly. I use mine for business almost every day, it's not a big deal but the trunk detaches easily
