It's comfortable, but not for long.

I bought them on April 9th. I wear them every day and walk an average of 12,000 steps a day, either at the gym or alongside my dog. Sometimes there are more and I get almost 20,000. I have calculated that I have put about 300 miles on them in 6 weeks of owning them and this is what they look like. For the record, I weigh 210 pounds and I don't run, I just walk. They're incredibly comfortable, but it's hard to believe I've gotten my money's worth when I've only had them for 6 weeks and the sole…

    Pros
    • I have been ordering Mizuno shoes for a number of years and have not been disappointed.
    Cons
    • The shoes are well made but lack support for a tall person.

That may be a matter of taste, but I prefer shoes with a springy insole or springy (slightly softer) rebound outsole. Some memory foam to fit your foot and some rebound in the sole. They didn't quite meet the level of comfort I prefer. But again, this is subjective for each person. For my taste, Saucony or Hoka sneakers are closer to ideal.

    Pros
    • I want them to run. Good support for flat feet.
    Cons
    • Not available in different colors

Mizuno really improved their running shoes.

Excellent cushioning, especially in the heel area. FYI - this is NOT a stable shoe. This shoe features midsole and outsole cushioning, strong outsole energy return, and overall superior comfort. Works well in garbage collection if you live in a place with lots of rocky terrain and thorny plants (we have). I really enjoy these shoes and have bought 3 pairs in the last 5 months.

    Pros
    • My feet and legs don't hurt anymore, work 12 hour shifts and always stand
    Cons
    • Not suitable for trail running

Shoes were ok but obviously used

Shoes were ok but not as advertised. The shoes were in new condition but appear to have been worn at least once. There is a lot of dirt on the soles of the shoes. I also ordered a Wave 16, although it was actually a Wave 17. I don't have time to return these shoes as I have to wear them. They are in great condition but still very strange that I received a used pair. I'm hoping the seller will send me a new pair soon or give me credit (I think half the price is reasonable) as the shoes were…

I will never buy women's shoes again

Lately I've been disappointed with Mizuno's color options for women. They are ugly or boring. On a whim I decided to check out the men's options and found exactly the color I was looking for! They say you can't choose a color-based running shoe, but I've been wearing the Mizuno Wave Inspire for a few years now, so I know what works best for my run. I just wanted it to be the best color. I really like how this model feels on my feet. It reminds me a bit of the Wave Inspire 14 in the way they hug

    Pros
    • La comodidad del producto
    Cons
    • Many things

    Poor quality: my rating

I've been wearing Mizuno Men's Wave Inspire shorts for many years. Very sad to see that they have changed the laces which are awful and the shoes appear to be of lower quality. Over a decade and a half later I had to transfer to Saucony and Brooks. Who changed the design? You should be fired. I hope they go back to the original quality and laces because I'm missing my favorite shoes. Quit trying to keep up with the Joneses. They had a great product and were trying to be cute. That does not…

    Pros
    • Good product! Shoes fit great!
    Cons
    • Can cause blisters if not cracked properly

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Stay the best shoe for me.

I've been wearing the Mizuno Inspire since the Inspire 5 (2011) and it's still my most comfortable shoe. Unfortunately, the durability of later versions of the shoe was questionable due to internal wear on the back of the heel. I hope Mizuno fixed this issue with the Inspire 16, but only time will tell. Another issue, which is actually more of a minor inconvenience, is the flat laces. Although they stay knotted on long runs, for some reason I find the flat laces particularly difficult to untie…

Very comfortable shoes but a little hot

I run about 12 miles a week and also work out in the gym 3 times a week. I want shoes that I can wear to do both. When I find shoes I like, I want to buy them again. I used to wear neutral Mizunos, but they're no longer made. I tried the Mizuno Sky 5 but found the sock had too much cushioning. I tried the Wave Rider 24 and I liked it so I got it in blue. I also ordered these Wave Inspire 16 shoes, although this shoe offers more support than what I've worn before, it's still a very comfortable…

    Pros
    • Muy cómodas tanto point entrenar via caminar.
    Cons
    • Added elastic at top of foot, too tight, not true 2E Mizuno width

The best supportive clothing for all day wear

I love this shoe. I switched to this shoe from ASICS and have no regrets. I have flat feet and need arch support. I work on my feet all day as a nurse (12+ hour shifts) and originally bought these shoes for exercise but now work in them. My feet are structured and supported in this shoe all day long. You won't get tired or hurt. I added a rigid insert for arch support and it's great. 5 Stars

    Pros
    • The best running shoes of all time.
    Cons
    • Tends to wear out quickly

Not as good as the old Wave Renegade

These are good running shoes for runners with flat feet. They fit well. It would be better if they resembled the old Wave Renegade.

    Pros
    • Optimal support
    Cons
    • Might not fit

I love these shoes for my opinion

I've now bought three pairs of Inspire 16 running shoes which seem to be holding up quite well but more importantly they are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I have one pair for training and another pair for my "casual" shoes. (My first pair just completely wore out.)

    Pros
    • Great for running and walking. Comfortable in everything
    Cons
    • Insufficient sole flexibility

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Worn soles in my review

I love that they still wear them but they ran out, I rode them an absurd number of miles before they wore out in all conditions. Sidewalk to mountain trails (not offered). Will there be another tail or 17 or whatever they do now

    Pros
    • PT has been running MILES in them since 2020, fit great, felt great.
    Cons
    • Not designed for speed running

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

    Falling apart on my rating.

Comfortable shoes but for the price they should last more than 6 months. Only lasted 6 months before they fell apart at the back of the boot on both the left and right boots and created holes in the side of my right foot.

    Pros
    • Fits very well, great support for everyday use. Helped me get rid of the pain.
    Cons
    • Does not provide adequate arch support for some people

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

    Something else

I have had several other Wave Inspire models (15, 14) and they are all great. This shoe gave me hip and back pain. I had to stop using them as running shoes.

    Pros
    • Love her. I stayed with Asics for years and I'm glad I made the switch. Light, fits great and very comfortable.
    Cons
    • Slippery on wet surfaces

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

    Smaller sock in my opinion

I love the looks and know they do well in terms of stability. The wavy knit version of the wave inspire feels significantly narrower and less spacious than the standard wave inspire. I've had wave motifs since a 9. I've always worn a 11.5 but am thinking of trying a 12 in wave knitting to see if that helps. (Edited - after they broke at the top they loosened up and they're definitely very comfortable. My only complaint is that the soles wear out quickly. I've changed my rating from 2 to 4…

    Pros
    • I recommend buying it
    Cons
    • Can cause leg pain if not fitted properly

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Incredible support in my review

I'm 55 and never knew (until now) that I was severely overpronated. I'm not a runner but they have great support when walking as well.

    Pros
    • Lightweight and breathable.
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for people with wide feet

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    The best shoes for me!

Tried this brand 10 years ago and never went back to others. I love how they fit my feet. If I see them selling for less than $75 I'll buy 5 pairs.

    Pros
    • Shoes are great!!!
    Cons
    • Not suitable for people with flat feet

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

Comfortable and supportive but fell apart after 2 months

I really liked these shoes as they were the first in a long time that my 14 year old son found comfortable and loved the active lifestyle. He has flat feet and needs good support and has grown nearly 4 inches this year. Unfortunately, these nearly $100 shoes fell apart in just 2 months. There are cracks near the toes and the sole is separating from the main part of the shoe. I don't expect his shoes to last forever but 6 months - a year would be nice. Come on Mizuno, you can do better!

    Pros
    • For a budget running shoe, I've always liked the Mizuno. This shoe did not disappoint.
    Cons
    • Can be difficult to clean

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great lift, good rebound, good looks

This is my fourth pair of Mizuno running shoes and I love them more than the previous ones. They bounce off the plastic disc well and have an exceptionally high fit, which is good if like me you're struggling with healing issues (but not the shoe you want if you have knee issues) and are Mizuno's prettiest shoes. Very happy with the purchase.

    Pros
    • Complete sentence
    Cons
    • Limited breathability

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Ideal for flat feet

I am an Ironman and have tried many different brands of running shoes for flat feet. I have very flat feet and am an overpronator. 20 years ago when I was running amicably, Mizuno was recommended to me for flat feet. I loved them then, but I also love ASICS and Brooks Beast. Returning to Mizuno convinced me to go back to the old days and stay with them. They have the rebound and support I need despite being lightweight. I don't care if my sneakers look their best, but as a plus it looks really…

    Pros
    • The best pair of shoes I've ever owned.
    Cons
    • Not suitable for people with plantar fasciitis.
