I haven't had any luck with these lamps. I had four in my possession: one to replace a bulb that had burned out on arrival, two that started flickering after a few hours and only worked on the lowest projector setting, and a fourth, not yet tried, that I' ll keep it as a last resort. This is on a projector that has been working flawlessly for two years. Yesterday I got a more expensive lightbulb from another dealer, but I refrain from buying it for the time being.

I was skeptical before getting and using this lamp. Of course, use an Epson product and know that it will provide over 4000 hours of reliable service. Works great at a great price. BUT I had to "fix" it before installing. Luckily I read similar reviews which allowed me to even consider renovating myself. It was actually very basic but shows a certain low level build. maybe that's why it's so cheap. After the installation, a red flashing light finally came on. Damn! Bought this bulb and tried it out on November 16th while watching football for 3 hours. I installed the bulb correctly, which I have done several times. The lightbulb worked fine. It was bright and clear enough, so I thought it was ok. The next night I turned on my projector and five minutes later the projector stopped working and I could detect a burning smell. The lamp buckled and the plastic between the projector's power connector and the lamp connector melted. Now I have a projector with no
