Great value for money

These things always hit or miss. I had two Epson bulbs from Epson and they both lasted no more than 1200 hours each. These third-party lamps are 15-20% cheaper than the official $300 lamp. Let's assume it works. Break even is around 200-250 hours. I've had this Mogobe for three years and I've got 1000 hours on the clock right now so I'm lucky. But after 300 hours of work I always expected to buy a new one if it dies. My room has blackout curtains so PQ and brightness are great and I didn't…

Lamp Failure Streak

I haven't had any luck with these lamps. I had four in my possession: one to replace a bulb that had burned out on arrival, two that started flickering after a few hours and only worked on the lowest projector setting, and a fourth, not yet tried, that I' ll keep it as a last resort. This is on a projector that has been working flawlessly for two years. Yesterday I got a more expensive lightbulb from another dealer, but I refrain from buying it for the time being.

Skeptics might miss a good price

I was skeptical before getting and using this lamp. Of course, use an Epson product and know that it will provide over 4000 hours of reliable service. Go for less than a third of the price and don't expect anything. Poor brightness and durability. In this case you will be surprised. I bought 2 just in case but luckily for me the 2nd lamp is waiting for the 1st to die. At the moment the brightness is 90% normal, despite slow heating, which means good light even in a daylight room, and the number

3 years and still

Like most Epson projector owners, I quickly killed the original Epson lamp, replaced it with a ridiculously overpriced original replacement lamp (>$350) that was far lasted under 2000 hours and decided it would be better than going back to the original lamp. This is what led me to the Mogobe lamp in 2017 and now in 2020 it still works, although my son's endless hours of play has certainly taken its toll. It's weak now, but it still works with no other flaws, so it's time to replace it before

It works great at a great price. but.

Works great at a great price. BUT I had to "fix" it before installing. Luckily I read similar reviews which allowed me to even consider renovating myself. It was actually very basic but shows a certain low level build. maybe that's why it's so cheap. After the installation, a red flashing light finally came on. Damn! I pulled it back and noticed that one of the power connector pins was loose. I pulled the piece out, bent the metal connector so it "snapped" better, and reinstalled. voila! nice…

Two months have passed and everything works perfectly. I use it about twice a week for about 90 minutes. everyone. It's nice and bright. It smelled like burning plastic for the first two hours, but I haven't noticed it since. Dec 2017 - burned out with 67 hours of use as reported by the projector (seems closer to 100-150 but the projector log says 67). It's worked great up to this point, but that's an extremely short lifespan. The rating has been changed from 4 to 2 stars. Edit - When I took…

Bought this bulb and tried it out on November 16th while watching football for 3 hours. I installed the bulb correctly, which I have done several times. The lightbulb worked fine. It was bright and clear enough, so I thought it was ok. The next night I turned on my projector and five minutes later the projector stopped working and I could detect a burning smell. The lamp buckled and the plastic between the projector's power connector and the lamp connector melted. Now I have a projector with no
