The telescopic boom jumps out and cannot be tensioned. Look elsewhere!

Very dissatisfied with this product. As soon as I unpacked it, I noticed that the quality did not meet my expectations. The boom main body is well constructed, but the telescopic boom feels light and flimsy and just popped out. No twisting of the "ergonomic handle" can lock the telescopic boom. It's literally impossible to tighten to keep the telescoping piece in place. Rather spend a little more money and find a better solution.

Nobody will trip over this arrow

I encourage people who are a bit lower on the stage to buy this arrow. How many times has a guitarist, saxophonist, or someone standing in front of you bumped into your boom and slammed the mic in your mouth? Not with that. It has absolutely no edge. Someone would have to fall on you to drive it inside you. This is a new generation of this boom and it is not as heavy/durable as the original as the tubing is thinner. However, it's strong enough to hold a fairly heavy microphone. I would suggest…

Very handy for microphones and accessories

This is one of the main components I use to attach my microphone arm and tablet holder to my Z-style keyboard stand. Angle and height adjustment provide more flexibility. I use a pair of these with a pair of On Stage KSA7575 Universal Pole Mount Mic Brackets and it's the perfect solution to eliminate floor poles. Think of it as a multipurpose component that can be used. various mounting options for microphones, small mixers (with suitable brackets, such as those offered by Yamaha for small…

Bought a few of these 18 months ago, will be back for new ones now.

I bought three of these 18 months ago; two are exactly the same, with retractable boom and one with fixed boom. I got it first because I was concerned about using a longer extension without a counterweight. But I had nothing to fear. I use Sure 58 mics almost exclusively and have never had a problem singing on stands (note the orientation of the base). I also use it with heavy bass, but I'm more nervous. However, these worries are on my mind. And I'm back for more. I use one on a desktop clip…
