Works well! good for video transmission system

After my first bad review I installed it on a 150ft line and expected a low speed of less than 10Mbps as I ended up with over 6ft of cable. Now that it's been running for a few months, I wanted to test actual speeds before trying other solutions. I seem to be getting 100Mbps both ways fairly reliably. On the other hand, if the coaxial cable is not connected but the ethernet is connected, it can crash your network. It seems to cause some kind of feedback and my network gets flooded with packets…

Awesome - Real Life Saving Technology

This is an amazing product. It does exactly what it promises. This product has no defects; those are all pluses. They come in neat packaging with clear instructions. You open the box, plug it in and you have ethernet over coax, that's it. I used them to convert an old CCTV camera into an IP camera. It turned out to be really plug and play. I had 12VDC and less than 50 feet of coaxial cable. The connected camera has a resolution of 4 MP. As directed, I hooked it up to a 10/100 switch powered by…

Works perfectly when installed according to device specifications.

I was very impressed with the simplicity of these passive converters. I ordered 3 kits to test and installed 2 pairs on site to replace failed active extensions. I extended 1 IP camera (2Mbps) with 200ft RG-6 coax cable and 4 IP cameras (8Mbps) with 200ft RG-6 coax cable and these converters got the data out of the box with no issues synchronized and moved. I installed a third pair on 450ft RG-6 coax to replace another active data converter (6Mbps) of 3 IP cameras and as with the previous site…

These guys can be put to work. I bought three pairs of these because the genius who wired my house wired my Category 5 phone lines and cable TV to my house. Also, none of the phone jacks were where they would be useful, and the cable TV outlets were right where I wanted to connect to the network. You can imagine my frustration when none of the three lines worked. No connection check, cable protection or even prayer helped. I expected one start or maybe even two to fail, but all three? So I set…
