Chocolate Men's New Balance M1300V1 Walking Shoes - Athletic Footwear Review

They were worn when watering the lawn and although wet they wiped off easily and feet were dry. Saddle soap restores them to new condition. Recent ankle surgery required a well balanced and supportive design. Now I only wear New Balance in xwide. This pair are my newest NBs and are the most used. Highly recommended.

It's comfortable, but that's about all I can say for good. I bought them in March 2021 and in May the threads began to deteriorate. It's October and I'm throwing them in the trash. You would think that for this money you would get more than 8 months usage. That's enough for a company that used to make good shoes in the US and now, it seems, in Vietnam from biodegradable yarn.

I'm a heavy guy and have been using this shoe almost every day for a little over a year with no major problems. So maybe I can't complain. But as a fat old man, I rarely wandered through forests and rough terrain as I once did as a young infantryman. So you can imagine my surprise when they started to burst at the seams so quickly given the relatively gentle hills and valleys I exposed them to.

I've been wearing New Balance sneakers for 10 years. The ones I just received are just as good as the others. I don't usually order shoes online, but once I had to. I'm not disappointed.

I have two pairs of New Balance shoes, 990V. I ordered the same size from Wide. The shoes I received are not as wide as the US made ones.

Excellent support, durable, the couple has a year and a half if they walk 20,000 steps a day because the waterproofness is maintained. Fast delivery according to the size

I wasn't expecting the soft leather feel of these shoes - what a pleasant surprise. I wasn't sure what to expect from a sneaker company but they went above and beyond any doubt I could have about the purchase. Really nice and comfortable shoes.

Okay, these are good shoes. They fit, they're waterproof (why I bought them) and they seem durable; so they can keep going. However, I do miss the Gorex Newball I had before; because they breathe. They are a bit hot in them and if I were to travel in the heat my feet would get sweaty. So I'm going to keep my old pair (not quite dead yet) for summer and these for fall, winter and spring. If my old pair dies will they work or I'll look for more Goretex.

I love these shoes, I rarely use a pair of shoes for more than 6 months. I've had 2 pairs that lasted 1 1/2 years...trying to find a 3rd pair but out of stock in my size right now... ...but I'll check

I bought these shoes for light walking, found them comfortable and supportive and glad to find such a good brand. In less than a year the lateral side was torn and the upper separated from the sole. They were NOT heavily used, just for an elderly person's daily walk, and weren't cheap. I am very disappointed in New Balance.

I love goretex shoes for work and need a width of 10.5 and that's pretty much the only shoe on the market. Sometimes the New Balance size is a bit different, but for the 3 times I've bought this model, it's always been right.

Thank you for keeping these shoes! Without these shoes, my right foot would not be able to get rid of the excruciating stabbing pain that was exacerbating the electrical pain in the sciatic nerve. The shoes fit well and were good for hiking. You are a little small. After going back to my original size, 1/2 size larger, they were fine.

Very happy with this shoe. I wear a size 15 wide and it's usually great. Difficult to find shoes in this size. I will definitely buy again.

Good comfort, poor sole durability. This is my second pair of these shoes but the back of the sole wore out too quickly on this pair.

I use them with lockable laces, elastic laces without ties, and that makes them non-slip. They are difficult to clean and oil or grease can contaminate them.

These shoes lasted 7 months before they started tearing. In the 15-20 years that I have purchased and worn New Balance shoes, I have never had a pair let me down. I usually apply them 1-2 years before the pages start to fail. They started cracking after 7 months of use. Avoid this particular New Balance model. They are the exact opposite of what New Balance is known for in terms of quality and comfort.

Fine. Looks good, waterproof as I ran on wet grass and noticed the water drained off when I hit the pavement. Fits well enough. Can be worn as casual wear or for hiking as the pants have a neat profile. The price is not good as they were high for my budget. A little tighter than I expected. These New Balance 1300 trail walking shoes are amazing. I've never had a more comfortable hiking/lightweight shoe. I've bought Merrill Moab 2 shoes 3 times in the past because they were my favorite. I am happy with the shoes so far. Good support and about what I expect to pay for better quality shoes. This is my first New Balance hiking shoe so it was a bit of a gamble but like I said they still feel great.
