    The perfect water camera!

So why not just use my phone in the waterproof case I have? One reason: OPTICAL ZOOM! No cell phone digital zoom camera can ever match P&S optical zoom! Took this to the Caribbean for a week, the week worked most of the week with no problems. The battery life was great, I think I only had to charge it once for the whole week. The shots were sharp and clear, and the optical zoom made it a lot easier to get close-ups of shy fish! If you love the water like me and want to keep your memories then…

Good camera, long battery life, ideal for children and wet places

Easy to use but no frills. Around the same time, a friend gave me a Nikon CoolPix S3500 because he knew I was looking for a camera. I use both but it's nice to know I can take these in the rain. I live in a place where it rains often. Will probably be taking this to JazzFest so I can take photos without worrying about damaging my phone. The camera is a little clunky, but not like a film camera. Nice to have but not used as often as the S3500. The sound and picture quality of the video is quite…

    Much better than I expected

I was skeptical about purchasing this camera as there was only one review and even then a negative one. But I went ahead anyway. I bought this for a trip to Hawaii where I was expecting to be on the beach and also snorkeling. I had several digital cameras (Canon/Nikon) as well as a DSLR. The image quality is actually very comparable to my Canon Elph 530HS. The bonus is that I can take it into the water with me. I took him snorkeling once and took some photos and videos underwater. The quality…

I bought this camera for cruising knowing there would be a lot of water involved. My husband checked the camera in our pool before the cruise and had no problems. We are satisfied with the quality of the photos and videos. We were very surprised at how long it held a charge. We snorkeled and used the video for over an hour and continued filming throughout the day. Only a quarter of the charge is consumed. You can see the clarity of the camera in the photos in Jamaica. We moved down the river…

The camera is great for the price, but takes a long time to record.

This is a great camera for the price, but it takes a long time to focus. If you don't wait for it to focus, your shots will almost always be muddled. This is not a high-speed camera at all. I haven't tried it underwater but I've seen photos of others and I'm not afraid to use it underwater. The best use of water I can think of is when you've been in a downpour and either didn't get a chance to keep it dry, or when you were shooting in the rain. Other cameras will definitely fry. Update…

Nice little point and shoot camera

I bought this camera to capture memories of a family vacation to Oregon this summer. I have a bigger, prettier camera that takes great pictures, but I needed a small, inexpensive camera that wouldn't take up much room in my free airline bag. I wasn't sure what the quality of the shots would be, but I was pleasantly surprised with the results. This camera doesn't have advanced features and doesn't take super high quality pictures, but I think you can still take some good pictures with zoom and…

    Exceeded our expectations

Let me start by saying that we are by no means professional photographers. Every year we go on vacation, do a lot of diving, etc., and always buy disposable waterproof cameras. These cameras keep going up in price, though, so after $40+ we were only looking for cameras that didn't include editing in Photoshop when we came back. We decided to take the plunge and only buy digitally, and I wish we had done that sooner. The photos were very clear, even the ones we took in muddy water came out much…

    really bad camera Nikon

After looking at a few waterproof cameras I decided to take a chance and buy this one as it was cheap and seemed ok and being a Nikon I went I take the risk. When the camera arrived I saw that it was really cheaply made: all plastic, not as much room for camera adjustments as other top models. One thing that really bothered me (as soon as I got the camera) is the way the battery is charged: you have to open the battery cover underneath the camera and plug in the USB cable while the battery…

Underwater, durable and great for kids

I just received the COOLPIX S33 waterproof excavation camera from Beach Camera. Shipping was fast and although refurbished the camera was perfect. No scratch on it. When we received it, it was almost fully charged, so we started using it right away. It was in a brown box and wrapped in bubble wrap but no information on the "Nikon" other than that it was refurbished by Nikon. No guides. Simply loaded with search. We've only been using the camera for a few days so it might be premature but I love

Well done, but I won't buy any more.

Gorgeous baby booty! Bought for a child. Delight knew no bounds! Sound effects, the ability to mock pictures right in the camera, listen to your screams - a sea of \u200b\u200bdelight. For the first two or three months, the device did not let go of the hands. Phot repeatedly fell to the floor, rolled in the sandbox, swam in the bathroom. It was painted with paints and smeared with plasticine. Stayed alive! Pictures in the sun are quite acceptable quality. Suitable for printing 10 to 15…

The product is terrible, much below my expectations.

The camera was presented by friends for a birthday, instead of a discontinued but ordered Fujik . It's a pity for their money - they bought into the price and brand, counting on an adequate replacement. Alas. When testing in field conditions in Karelia (to be honest, the conditions for filming are disgusting, bad weather) - half of the frames are beyond any sharpness, the grain climbs out of all the cracks, what the hell are 14 megapixels ? from the fact that he took off two to get! When…

    Cons
    • All the rest. Automation - to hell, the matrix - noisy, control - illogical, you can't fix anything with the handles. The main drawback: this nightmare exists, misleading people, and at the same time it shoots worse than a phone!
