Bio Aqua 🌊 Cleaner - Nutrafin Waste Control Review

This waste remover works great, it's quite expensive but if it works then stick with it. I use this weekly to top up my gravel bacteria load to help break down waste and uneaten leftovers. It can also be used directly in the filter housing to control deposits, especially in pipes and fittings.

"I love all Nutrafin products". And this is no exception. "Works well" and at the right price. I'm not interested in the two step program it requires. This is made for aquariums, not turtles [and I use this for our turtle tank]. For us it replaced Nutrafin Turtle Clean [since Nutrafin no longer sells Turtle Clean in the US].

Over the years I have used a range of products for my aquarium. The Nutrifin cycle and waste control were the only biological methods that seemed to work at all. I had a period where I couldn't find them locally so I used other brands and my tanks kept getting worse. I found out I could order them online through Revain, I received them and within a week my tanks were healthy again. Excellent line of products.

This NutraFin Waste Control product has really changed my life! I have two medium and large tanks (29 and 26 gallons). The large aquarium houses large freshwater clown trout, which are very cute but eat a lot and produce a lot of waste. I use this product and the companion product from the same manufacturer Cycle and the water stays clear and the fish seem happy and healthy. I read about this product before buying it. What I found after using it was that even though I had used it as suggested along with their Cycle product, the ammonia spikes were too high and I was losing my fish. It's on the shelf. I will probably donate it to my local pet store where they have 300 goldfish fed in a 50 gallon tank. On the other hand, these feeder goldfish are the toughest creatures I've ever seen. I bought this for my 75 gallon fresh water tank to see if I could reduce waste and reduce the waste generated. It raised my ammonia levels and killed 2 fish despite using the recommended products to prevent this. It "removed" so much debris that I had to clean both outer filters every day for almost a week.
