Updated review, died after 6 months

Not very windy but enough current for next to the bed on the bedside table, NOT noisy, IDK what other reviewers were expecting. I gave it 2 stars because it died after 6 months. This time I'll buy another one with batteries. Lavash cord interferes.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Long delivery time

powerful for its weight, versatile, quiet, avoids controversy

Lighter and more powerful than my old fan. With the ability to plug it into an outlet or USB port, and thanks to the foldable stand, I travel with it to use by the bedside, in the bathroom and while working on my laptop. This is especially useful when other people in the room don't need a fan or air conditioning.

Works well! in Computers & Accessories

I'm a nurse and I use this on my computer on wheels because my floor is usually hot. It's quiet, unobtrusive, and best of all, I can position it so the airflow cools me. I use a USB port on my computer and have more than enough cables to get it where I want it. I accidentally dropped it more than once and it still works and has no cracks after falling 2-3 feet to the ground. For the price I'm happy with what I got.

Comfortable, sufficiently powerful fan

This is a replacement for the old version, which I really liked. Still a good fan blowing quite a bit of air. Very easy to take with you. What I don't like is that it only has one speed. There were two of these on the older model. Second, the power button is awkward to press with one hand. The older model had a handy slide button. Unless you have hand/finger issues (like arthritis) this is an inexpensive portable fan that moves quite a bit of air for its size.

  • Elegant design
Cons

Not worth the money.

Bought for my desk at work. The product is so light that it doesn't stay in the direction I put it. The strength of the thin cable is enough to rotate the fan. The cable is on one side of the fan and is quite short. It's also quite loud, reminding me of the noise some vacuum cleaners make. I've already bought about 10 of these little o2cool fans but this is the first in this version - 10 of those I had get 4-5 stars. This fan, zero stars. Should be sold in dollar store.

  • Excellent overall performance

releases some air. suitable for computer accessories and peripherals

Yes, it is a bit noisy. I love sleeping with a fan, both for the noise and the air escaping. We went to Seattle and we went lightly. So I know I need a small fan. Once at a hotel I used the USB adapter I had. The fan worked great. It's not a power plant, but a small fan blew enough air to put me to sleep. It also fits in my backpack without taking up much space. It blows a little better when plugged into the wall, but it's just perfect for when you're sitting on your laptop and just want toโ€ฆ

This 2 is cool! good for USB fan

This is my second O2COOL fan. Not because the first one was worn out, but because they suit me. I have the worst hot flashes and bought my first one based on a review from another menopausal woman. I use the first one when I'm at my computer since it connects directly to it. This is for my bathroom where I put on makeup and it is attached to the wall. I always take them with me when I travel and because they are foldable, they easily fit in my suitcase. I've had the 1st for over a year and it's

Saved my sanity for shopping for computer accessories and peripherals

I was planning to travel around Central America for 2 months and most of the places I stayed didn't have air conditioning so I took this fan with me. It saved my sanity, especially when I had to spend 5 nights in the steamy bowels of a fishing boat turned motorboat, sailing the equatorial Pacific. Just before returning to the States, I dropped it on a tile floor and one of the connectors holding the fan upright broke. The fan was still working, just wasn't holding up, so I threw it away, but no

If you need a cased USB fan.

I ordered this based on other reviews but wasn't impressed with the quality of the fan. It works well enough but seems cheap. I personally wouldn't order it again but would order another USB powered ARCTIC Breeze Mobile fan that doesn't have a screen but is a much higher quality product overall. I regret the purchase because of this factor, but it moves a decent amount of air. I don't feel like this is a quality product and if you don't need a USB power supply Honeywell fans have been a muchโ€ฆ
