I somehow managed to order the wrong item and shouldn't have sent it back so I'm sticking with it. This article was for a battery powered toothbrush instead of an electric one. It would have been nice if the advert for this item had stated that it was the battery powered version.

I love these brush heads and really can't say anything bad about them, however it does annoy me that you have to use that little bit of plastic to throw away the old a head, even though I think this is the best safety feature because I was using the usual heads for regular electric brushes which actually came loose in my mouth while brushing my teeth and I almost choked on it.

Yes, dirt can accumulate in the upper part of the brush handle. After cleaning, run water through the hole. Remove and clean the brush from time to time. These replacement brushes last about as long as a good battery. I even have an old battery powered brush that I use to clean firearms. Works great with bolt action rifle and rimfire chamber.

I couldn't find them in stores anymore, so I ordered a few right away. They last a long time and the toothbrush itself runs on 1 AA battery so I don't have to worry about not recharging the battery over time. As long as the toothbrush works I will use this product. It's not much more expensive than a normal toothbrush and works ten times better.
