I had a bunch of uniforms in perfect condition and wanted to take the time to remove the company logo and name so the clothing could be donated instead of being sent to landfill and thrown away. Works quite well, but takes a little getting used to. They always come from behind and must be careful not to dig too deep and damage the fabric or the garment itself. Requires some patience but is much better than regular clippers. Lies comfortably in the hand, the cable does not interfere.

Great for eliminating random bugs! I have an embroidery company. I embroidered someone's design upside down on my crafts. HOORAY! Thanks to Peggy's Stitch Eraser I was able to remove the machine embroidery and fix the design. It's expensive, but pays for itself quickly. Application requires practice. The teeth are sharp and quickly corrode embroidery and fabrics. Just be careful and know when to stop shaving before you ruin the fabric. This is better than tearing threads by hand!
