Not compatible with Dropbox

I used to like these cameras. Phillips refused to update the app so the camera stopped working with DROPBOX. You cannot use any other cloud account to save videos or images. Therefore, the alert function is disabled, which defeats the purpose of my cameras. Philips really spat on this device. It's very doubtful I would even consider Philips in the future as they don't stand behind their devices.

Pros
  • I like it so far
Cons
  • There are flaws

Not very: video surveillance video recorder

Keeps losing connection to router, NEVER broadcast anywhere except to the network it is connected to. You cannot record on demand. Doesn't work at night or even in dim light unless it can see light, such as. B. Car headlights. The video is pretty bad but I think it's good enough. Video only records up to 30 seconds. Sometimes the recording will start during the event, and sometimes the video file will start earlier and end before the event is complete. The application lags, the controls are…

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • All is not as good as it is written

Aside from not sending alerts as advertised, this is a good product.

Setting up the Philips M100/37 Wireless Home Monitor is very easy as detailed in the manual that comes with it. I can take photos and videos remotely from my iPhone by downloading the installed Philips In.Sight app. The photo is a bit mosaic (not much) but good. Video recording is good too. In the dark, visibility is zero, which I didn't claim. Here's a breakdown of: Instant monitoring from your iPhone or iPad - Go through the iPhone/iPad app for easy operation - Go through the built-in noise…

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Great camera suitable for security and surveillance

I actually bought this camera as my second camera (I bought the first from Daily Deal for $30) and I couldn't be happier. Both cameras are Phillips M100. I really like that these cameras are compact and unobtrusive unless that's what you're looking for. You can hide them even more and turn off entry highlighting in the Phone app. The included power cord is ridiculously long in my opinion. The installation process, while tedious, is incredibly simple. You download the app, connect the new camera

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Nothing here

Not ready for prime time

I've installed 4 of these now and the lack of consistency is frustrating. Sometimes they set up on the first try, sometimes they take an hour or more to connect. There is very little troubleshooting information available. When I called support when I couldn't get any of them to go through a continuous amber light, they said nobody had ever had any trouble setting it up, but in the end agreed it must be bad and I did should return. Once the camera is finally set up, the live view is very good…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
