Toothbrush great packaging. BAD!

Good. Does anyone else need a power tool to open this pack of Philips Sonicare ProResults plaque control toothbrushes? It took me a few minutes to cut and remove the brushes before I could take the brushes out of the packaging. i love toothbrushes but the packaging!. Come on people. All that hard plastic just ends up in landfill. Please use your technical skills to find a more sustainable way to deliver your product to your customers. Namaste

Basic dental care products can be expensive

Except for the overpriced they are perfect. They follow the business model of HP printers. HP sells the printer cheap and pays to replace the toner. Sonicare sells a relatively inexpensive toothbrush handle and makes money off replacement brushes. However, Sonicare is the best, so it's almost impossible to get around. There are aftermarket brushes made in China that fit Sonicare and I tried them once. They were obviously worse, so I went back to the original. Buy in bulk to save as much as…

Pros

  • Exchange available

I bought them back in March 2018 because I knew I needed new ones. I haven't changed my clothes until tonight. The box says '3 pack' on the outside but after cutting one side of the box with scissors I only found 2. I know I didn't take any out. beautiful. Well when I printed it out I thought it would be better to double check and no - the plastic is intact, except for the side I just cut there are no other holes. So no - I only have 2 heads, not 3. Two that stick out in a molded piece of…

Surprisingly other brands work better

These brushes work well but won't last you 3 months. I had to change every month as Sonicare says you can use them for 3 months (especially if you have a brush sanitizer kit). In fact, I've found that a foreign brand by Target performs better in terms of brush head durability. Good product if you are good at changing heads every month.

Either fake or poor quality

Most likely fake, unfortunately. I put a new one on my toothbrush and when I was rinsing my mouth I found a whole piece of the bristle had fallen off! Maybe I expected something like this to happen when used very well, but not the first time. It gives the impression that this is not a genuine Philips branded product that I paid for. learned my lesson

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Could it be a fake?: Replacement toothbrush heads

I think it's a fake? All heads have the same solid dot, while my original nozzles had triangle/open dots/filled dots so you can distinguish between the brushes. I think they're ok and seem to be holding up well. Just don't think they're real.

  • There's something in there

They REALLY make a difference

I ordered these brushes for my husband as he has had a problem with plaque build up between dental appointments. This brush seems to hold back build-up between our visits. I even started using them recently and am very happy with the results. They do seem to really "clean" and remove plaque unless it's a heavy buildup. I would recommend them to anyone who has trouble with plaque build up.

Bad selection; Loud, unlike the original nozzles.

This replacement toothbrush heads HX9023/64 new version. The noticeably loud rattling vibrations of the new head version are an indication that the cleaning energy is being wasted as vibration noise due to a poor fit. Much louder noise than ever heard from the original heads. I've had a Philips Sonicare FlexCare Plus Sonic HX6972/10 electric toothbrush for years and the old HX6023/90 replacement brush heads have never been this noisy and I've compared them to the unused old brush head model I…

Pros
  • Not cheap but neat
Cons
  • High price

A few months ago I switched to a Sonicare toothbrush and started using 3M PerioMed and my teeth and gums are in much better shape now. I don't know how much I owe to the toothbrush and how much to PerioMed, but that's enough. When I first started using my Sonicare, my gums bled a little. I bought a packet of Pro Results Gum Health Tips and after I used them up I went back to them and haven't had any issues since. I've (briefly) tried some regular baits so I can safely say they are *well* worth…

They don't seem to fit

I love my Sonicare and don't think I will ever go back to a manual toothbrush. Replacement heads are a bit more expensive, but I'm glad I found a replacement Revain for less than what I can find at local stores. And since I really like my Sonicare, I decided to use Philips replacement heads instead of the standard options. To my disappointment, I ordered the correct ones with those branded replacement heads!) There is a small gap between the brush head and the toothbrush base which, while not…
