I want the number I ordered, nothing less.

Have not tried them yet. I purchased two orders of 50, twice. This equals 100! The first time I was sent 99. This time I was sent 98. I am paying for a product to be complete! Not one less. They are expensive. Practically $30 for 50. I know it’s just one or two, but this is false advertisement and I don’t appreciate receiving anything less than what I paid for. They don’t look the same. Some look like the have already expanded. Others are tight, which is what I am expecting because they are…

Pros
  • Was okay, but expected more and wasnt thrilled with the texture of the coco.
Cons
  • Grows plants just fine, but full of gnats!

Came in a little bag!

These little "50 cent piece” sized discs are great and I have used them allready. I live in an apartment and have no extra place to store potting soil, but I still have plants. These pellets turn into soft, wonderful soil and I can keep them in a small space. Very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Lots were busted up. Used for a different project. But still usable.
Cons
  • Little discs, smaller than expected came with. NO rehydration instructions. Nothing. Pretty disappointed

Dont buy as a seed starter

If you're looking for something to start seedlings in, this isnt it. It expanded into a mess, unsuitable for planting. I'll used the expanded material in my compost heap.

Pros
  • Comes well packaged and working great for seeds. Got 30 mm ones.
Cons
  • That okay

Great product! in my review

I am super happy with this product.I just soaked one disc in some water and it swelled up with such an ease and so quickly that I was in disbelief. One disc was enough for my two 6.5 inch container pot mixed with top soil and compost. The best part is you can have coco fiber (peat moss substitute)all the time handy with out occupying too much space.I am going to buy again once I finish this .

Pros
  • My plants and herbs love living in this. One disk perfectly filled a 5" pot.
Cons
  • The soil disks may not be suitable for all types of plants and gardens, limiting their versatility

Good product in my review

Excellent product. The 30mm discs were quite small but they expand four to five times the compressed size. My next purchase will be Of larger size discs.

Pros
  • All but one disk fluffed up but this one didn't seem to absorb any water
Cons
  • Be aware how very small these are. Works great for very small pots

As expected: my feedback

Each disk is about enough for a small pot, 6” or less. I used one to refill a pot for a single amaryllis. There are no instructions Included but each disk needs about 2-2.5 cups of water to expand fully hot water works quicker.

Pros
  • VERY GOOD Product!
Cons
  • The organic nature of the soil may attract pests such as fungus gnats or other insects, posing a risk to your indoor garden

Not enough for one pot

All ten didn't make enough for one orchid. I'm really disappointed. Why would I spend 8$ on that tiny amount. Misleading.

Pros
  • Takes up less space than all those bagged soils. I would definitely buy again.
Cons
  • The small size of the disks may require multiple purchases to accommodate larger plants, adding to the overall cost

Amazing available water capacity for roots

Works great as a medium for sprouting seeds. Would not recommend by itself as a growing medium because it will keep most plant roots too wet but it's a good addition to a mix to increase water retention.

Pros
  • 9.49 x 4.92 x 3.03 inches
Cons
  • The disks may break apart during the planting process, making it difficult to position plants or seeds properly

Horrible for seeds good for me

The description states for seeds but they are horrible for starting seeds. These disks are just compacted dirt mix, when you add water they don’t retain any form just loose soil. Extremely disappointed.

Pros
  • Worked as expected. I love how these things don’t take up a lot of room.
Cons
  • A bit smaller than expected
