🌿 Sustainably Crafted PlanToys Wooden Dollhouse Playground Equipment (7153): Safe, Eco-Friendly, Non-Toxic Design Review

This product is not suitable for young children. We bought this for my 3 year old and after having to redrill the mounting holes (they were in the wrong place) it took about 10 minutes before it broke. No doll can "rock" on a swing. I am not satisfied with the quality of this product. For a toy designed for a toddler's dollhouse, it's not well made. If you're looking for toys for toddlers, keep looking.

My daughter loves this great accessory for her wooden dollhouse. I gave it 4 stars because the build was crazy! The swing bar and flat platform should just click into place. It was so hard to put them on. My husband tried to help and broke the part. We were able to super glue it and it works well, but be aware that you will need some big muscles (but apparently not too much) to get these parts to snap into place. Otherwise it's a great thing and we've been playing for hours!

I know other reviewers have had similar issues but this product doesn't stick. The ending with slides keeps falling apart. Also, the end where the ladder is parallel to the swing support bar (rather than at a 90 degree angle) only adds to the instability. I know others have changed the product to make it work - we plan to do the same but haven't gotten around to it yet. If you don't have woodworking skills, don't buy this toy. Too bad because it would be really cute if they just stayed…

It's really cute but I had to listen to all the reviews. The design of it is terrible. It crumbles at the slightest touch. I think they updated the product based on the complaints because now there are these little plastic handles meant to hold it together. But they're not aligned properly so the slide still pops out, they're very difficult to insert, and one of them isn't even there, so there's no way to connect the rotating bar to a random ladder that leads to nowhere. You can't even glue it…

Overall, I like PlanToys as a company and appreciate the sustainability orientation of their business model. We also try to stick to gender-neutral dollhouse toys, which is another positive for many of these PlanToys (and Hape) miniatures. We have several of their kits which I would describe as 'good' quality but not exceptional. They are thoughtfully designed and built to last, but there are almost always a few small quality control issues of varying degrees, from a toy that sometimes needs to
