What a waste of time! Kobe sucks

I bought this player a week ago being tempted by the price and features. I thought I knew the reviews were bad but decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a big mistake! This piece of junk didn't start at all! I mean how bad PMP can be! Inserting and removing the battery from this behemoth seems like an almost impossible task. Thanks to JR Electronics, they got it back. All in all, what a waste of time and a complete piece of junk!

No competition for portable audio and video devices

Coby I have about a month, including trips with him. No other device on the market compares to it. Yes, startup can be slow, but that's okay. Get over 130 episodes of our favorite series and the picture will be great. Indexing can be a bit unstable. The battery life is simply outstanding. no comparison to other PMPs who left before some of the movies were finished. The power supply is a bit bulky. Hey Kobe, how about a small power supply? The only thing that confuses me is that there is noโ€ฆ

I like it but there is room for improvement

I've had Coby for 3 months now. It takes about 30 seconds to load, which isn't a big deal to me. It plays the movies displayed on it very well as long as they appear in the player list. And that's my biggest beef I've got with it. Some MPEG2 files will play and some won't, even if they're recorded from the same source. I have no idea what he likes about some of them and dislikes about others. So I convert them to mpeg1 and they all play, weird hmmm. The picture quality is excellent. The screenโ€ฆ

Huge piece of junk

The file manager won't let me delete directories, only individual files. I cannot copy individual files from an external source, only the entire contents of the flash drive. So if I have a hundred photos on a flash drive and a movie, it copies everything but only allows me to delete files at a time in the most cumbersome way. It has an interface cable that I have never seen before and is unique to this product and only this product. A standard USB cable would be smart and sensible. Oh no. Don't

Wow, great screen and even better than DVR!

In the dying field of digital audio and video recording, I needed something that could easily and easily record video without a docking station and millions of cables - it does the job very well! was bought on purpose as I didn't know COBY well except as a DVD player. I'm not disappointed yet, although I've only been using it for a few months and have seen other reviews. I've already digitized some of my VHS tapes - one of the main reasons I bought them - you can change the aspect ratio whichโ€ฆ

Possibly the worst interface design.

Although it's almost ridiculously bulky, it really could be a fantastic little device. But the UI is COMPLETELY unintuitive and requires you to hop your fingers across the damn thing to complete the most basic tasks. You use the side switch for some menu functions, but then it's at the top of the player for the arrow keys and backing up screen by screen to get to the main menu. It twitches that mp3 files are not always displayed, the FF and RW functions do not always work entirely correctlyโ€ฆ

Not as it seems. in MP3 and MP4 players

Don't bother with a bad menu. (But this is the first piece of electronics that has ever given me instructions in Pidge English.) I don't mind a slow start. So loading takes a few minutes. Just like the PC. So what? What I'm really interested in is whether or not it can do the job and unfortunately it LACKS the ABILITY to play videos. Come on! The screen twitches twice a second no matter what you're playing and it just gives me a headache, and I don't usually have a headache. I can't stand 5โ€ฆ
