It all depends on Portable Audio & Video

I haven't had this item for a long time. It arrived quickly and as advertised. The sound quality is poor but since I only want to listen to my two favorite AM "talk" stations this isn't critical for me. If sound quality is important to you, keep looking.

Utilitarian. Does what it should

Nothing special. I just wanted a device that would reliably play my 40+ year old Eric Butterworth Sunday service tapes at Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City. I have over 500 tapes so this Sony will do the job better.

Portable Audio & Video packaging

Player works great, good sound, easy to use and good price. What I didn't like was the mess on the box with the player. There was a sticky, sticky substance around the edges of the top of the box, inside and outside the box. This is the first piece of electronics I've bought, it was wrapped in bubble wrap and then stuffed into the box.

Good sound quality and a wide range of functions enable use in many areas.

I liked that there is a choice of radio (FM and AM), CD player, etc. I also liked the sleep function, when the radio or CD player switches off automatically after a certain time (90, 60 or 30 minutes). This boombox could be improved if the function controls could be dimly lit (turned on and off) so the functions could be accessed in the dark. It would also be nice to add a clock (digital or analog).

It is expedient. It does what it's supposed to do

Package - Portable Audio & Video

the player works great, good sound, easy to use and good price. What I didn't like was the mess on the box with the player.
